Thank you so much for making this video 🥹🙏🏼. Fatal fury is actually my 2nd favorite fighting game when I was a kid. I used to tell kids in my neighborhood to check that game out. I first discovered F.F. In the arcades and was blown away. Also we need to have Duck King back ☺️

They must have panicked when they saw SFII. FF is a great, iterative sequel to SF1, but II is a monumental leap that was so obscenely good it's as if Capcom leapt far into the future

You are the only one that I say it correctly on the release to the west Fatal Fury Mark of the Wolves. The reason the name didn't change. It was do to SNK having money problem. They didn't had the time to change the name in regions. So the name Garou stayed. However once SNK was able to release the game on the Sega Dreamcast. The name change to Fatal Fury Mark of the Wolves. The newer game is Fatal Fury City of the Wolves. They don't even say Garou 2. Because the game is suppose to be a fatal ury game. I like Mark of the Wolves. But I wish the ability to move to the background or frontground came back. I miss doing that in Fatal Fury. I get it. It is much easiar to work in just 1 grand and just focus balance for the game.

Yeah, it's because "Garou" is the Japanese name for Fatal Fury. "Garou Densetsu" is the full name.

Some said Terry and Andy are scraped characters of Capcom Original idea of SF1 was that player 1 choose Ryu Cody or Andy and player 2 choose Ken Terry or Guy , finally SF1 kept only Ryu and Ken Then Final Fight used two of the remaining characters to be the main role

1:59:44 While there is no officially stated reason as to why Marco Rodrigues’ name was changed to Khushnood Butt, common fan speculation is that it was to avoid drawing similarities to a real life Brazilian MMA fighter named Ricco Rodriguez. Thankfully that’s not an issue anymore and he can be Marco again when he (hopefully) comes back for COTW.

I remember watching the first anime movie as a teen the nostalgia and I was amazed the game had an anime. I already liked terry bogard from the games but now I kno his story. In my opinion, Street Fighter 2 and the original Fatal Fury, while the SNK game was a decent game, Street Fighter 2 was a more solid game. Fatal Fury was a good game, but Street Fighter 2 was the "better" game. Street Fighter 2: 10/10 perfect score Fatal Fury 1: 8/10 overall a good score But if you also include Street Fighter 1 Street Fighter 1: 5/10 Then things seem to be more fair.

Tung fu rue style is pronounced Ba Ji Chuan. The Q in Chinese is treated as a CH sound. For some reason.... Idk why the world chose the letter Q for a ch sound. Kinda weird.

I did a whole video about it actually. As strange as it is, his name is pronounced kaan officially. You can hear that in Fatal Fury 1 when you gave him. I am planning to ask the devs directly, in a planned interview, why is it "kaan" instead of the logical "kayn".

I am an absolute fan of the king of fighters saga, and I love snk in its pixel art era. But I have never tolerated the displacement towards the background in the installments of fatal fury, I hated that the characters went to a distant plane that does not contribute anything, and only spoiled the experience. There has never been a fatal fury that I could enjoy because of that annoying form of gameplay.
