Yes, but modern humans (or fish in the spongebob universe) didn’t appear until around 200,000 years ago. So if the series was realistic, trilobites had to have survived a lot longer.

Since he has his own house and even goes to work I always thought that spongebob was in his 30s (early 20s when he joined the krusty krab) squidward and sandy is between 30-40 range And mr krabs and plankton in thier 60-70s. It is a known fact that sea creatures live longer and age slowly Underwater which could explain spongebobs childlike behavior Squidward is in his 40s cuz he is at a time in his life where he feels that he hasn't accomplished anything He has seniority with the krusty krab And he seldomly has flashbacks of his younger years Sandy started out like she seemed be spongebobs girlfriend the future in season 1 But in season 2 onwards sandy has played up more of the auntie/Big Sis Role for instance She is more of the auntie role when she is with spongebob and Patrick But when she gets a standalone with spongebob she plays up more of the big sister role And also why I think she is older is she was originally in Texas until the scientists allowed her to research underwater and she would have had to get a degree in science And also sandy also has been in 500 rodeos( she says this in the episode surf and turf) Mr krabs and plankton being 70 is self explanatory first off with Krabs being in the BB war Being a pirate with his granpappy and him being a sailor (pull up a barrel) shows hes older than you realize I do believe that ms puff is around that age as well if not slightly younger Her and mr krabs have a sort of a romance which shows that they might be around the same age And finally Patrick he is probably a year or two older than spongebob He's bigger stronger though not smarter than spongebob in any way There relationship has a rocko/heifer vibe to it

This is how it works :we start with the original timeline where squidward isn't the one who invented the jellyfishing because he didn't exist when it happened but when he time travels back to the past and changes that then a new timeline is created which squidward is who invented jellyfishing

@@jeremymyrick6104 the Simpsons was an adult cartoon it may have lasted longer but it didn't have the same popularity that spongebob did And also spongebob managed to be in the middle where younger audiences can enjoy the slapstick and the adults can enjoy the hidden jokes And also spongebob started from the late 1999/2000 so it ran from 2000 to beyond 2020 And spongebob was able to consistently kept its main voices actors throughout all of this can you imagine if they gotten someone else to play spongebob other than Tom Kenny Notice also I said: best and longest running cartoon of the 2000s and 2010s the Simpsons was out 10 years before spongebob so Simpsons wouldn't be the best of the 2000s or even the 2010s decade most of its glory came from the 90s run even if it was good it certainly didn't dominate the 2000s like spongebob did and certainly not popular like that either mainly because the Simpsons Like family guy is adult oriented But spongebob is more family oriented that's why it works

Krabs became a father by adoption so the theory that he's Pearl's sugar daddy is out, but not the idea that Krabs is Pearl's step-father. in the episode Selling Out during his music number, we see Krabs with Pearl in past photos. one as a baby, and one as a little girl, learning to ride a bike.
