So we thought with the new Teen Titans Vs Teen Titans Go movie out we should go through events of the original Teen Titan series and the Teen Titans Go comics to put together the complete Teen Titans timeline.

@@LoD619 but I don't think they ever really poked too much at the idea that Jericho was Slade's son. I think they might have a bit in season 4 before Trigon appeared, and Jericho 1st appearance in the show wasn't until probably mid to late season 5.

@@morganrussman Jericho's first appearance was actually in episode 11 (episode 12 is the big battle episode, basically the Season 5 finale, and 13 was the series finale). He was probably meant to appear earlier in Season 5, what with them originally being given 20-something episodes to work with before CN cut it down to just 12 then a 13th to wrap up the show, buuuuut CN isn't really known for their good decisions when it comes to quality shows they have.. Season 6 was meant to revolve around the Starfire/Blackfire/Wildfire (Darkfire in the comics) stuff, so outside of a potential solo episode for him I doubt Jericho was meant to get his big arc in S6. That being said, I do think that if they'd gotten a S6 and 7, S7 would have entirely focused on Slade/Grant/Joe/Rose/Adellaine/Wintergreen stuff and would have been designed to be the grand finisher - going back to where the series started with the Slade arc in S1, and having various other call backs and pay offs from the other 6 seasons.

About Terra being alive and stuff, remember that she *turned* to stone. After Raven defeated her father, every person that turned to stone was revived so Terra was also revived. Got this from some RU-vid comment

I like how Starfire's arrival on Earth was technically the catalyst that brought the Teen Titans together. It's a shame she never got her season dedicated to her during the show run. I actually think this show had the best origin for the Teen Titans, as it was alot more obscure in the comics.

It’s even darker in the original comics. There’s a reason why she felt that honorable death in battle was better to the pain of living. It’s the main conflict between her and Robin/Nightwing in comics. Luckily, TTA Star escaped the Gordanians before entering the Citadel.

I thought Robin was 13-15 (leaning on 14-almost 15 from when they first met up), and Cyborg was 16-17. BB and Raven were between 13-14, and I want to put Raven as the older one. Star was the human equivalent of 15-16 in my head, though I don't remember them ever talking about her age in numbers, and considering she's an alien, her lifespan may not quite match. That was my assumption, at least.

I get the feeling only Cartoon Network could really answer that. All we can do is hope that this push to possibly bring the original back keeps going. Although if you don't take it as serious and take it as non-cannon, the Go! series isn't so bad. Heck of a lot better than the effort to make a ThunderCats version.

From what I've heard, the show was aimed at boys (idk the age range) but then more and more girls took interest in it. Since the show also depended on the selling of comics and toys (and most who bought toys were girls who prefered, for example, raven and starfire dolls instead of every other toy that was made about the show) it didn't have much money. They had also originally planned to end with the movie of when they go to Japan to defeat the ink monster but kept going since the movie made good money.

Toy sales honestly. And this is what really blows me- The show was directed towards boys, but they had a huge female fanbase. But girls weren’t buying the toys as much as boys (which also wasn’t that much) and because of that reason it got cancelled. Or at least that’s what was told. Back then toy sells meant a lot, even today but more along the lines of memorabilia.

That's ironic because if I remember correctly the reason why The Batman took so long to introduce Robin was because they didn't want to have him on while Teen Titans was still going.

I suppose it could be in theory. Though there are a few small costume changes. 1) The Batman: Robin's cape was slit up the middle to resemble bird wings better; Teen Titans: Robin's cape is a solid piece. 2) The Batman: Robin's R was black inside yellow; Teen Titans: the R is yellow inside black (I personally like the black in yellow look better. 3) The Batman: the bottom half of Robin's suit was all green with shoes: Teen Titans: the bottom half is mostly green with black and silver boots. I know those are technically minor things, but if Teen Titans actually was a sequel to The Batman, the looks/designs should've stayed the same. That's like when Batgirl becomes Batman's official 'in the loop' partner in The Batman, he gives her everything he has, even the belt. And in the very next episode, the belt is right back to the original look. I know the shows are primarily made for kids entertainment, and that bit was so short and quick, but I think even some kids would notice that basic lack of continuity.

I feel like the best season finale of TT would involve the team teaming up with members of the Justice League each episode. Then in the finale, The Teen Titans and the Justice League join forces to take down a powerful threat and Cyborg decides to leave the team and join the Justice League.

I’d say they just grow up. Robin becomes Nightwing, Cyborg joins Justice league, and Starfire, Raven, and Beastboy recruit new younger heroes & start all over.

Cause some other dude stoled the stuit an then on another episode red x comes back and it clearly not robin an helps them fight an then dispears again an Robin still.has no idea who.it is an it ended at that :(

Anyone else loves Beast Boy and feel so upset when everyone not give him the attention that he deserves. I love characters like BB such as 2012 Series of TMNT Michelangelo (Mikey) the misunderstand Buttercup (Powerpuff Girls), & Amethyst (Steven Universe) If the 2003 Series of TT comes back I would it to first Focus on Starfires story then back to BB and the Rest of the Teen Titans (maybe from other sectors like East or South TT) for more character development on them as well

If it comes back, I want them to adapt BB's story about why (in the comics) he changed his name from Beast Boy -> Changeling in between the 70's original Teen Titans runs and the 80's New Teen Titans runs (the NTT runs are the ones 99% of the stories and characters in the show are all based on btw. Brother Blood, Terra, Blackfire, Deathstroke, Starfire, Raven, Trigon, Cyborg, etc etc were all created in most cases *very* early on in the NTT comics). There'd need to be a few changes of course, one of the defining traits of comics BB is that he's had like... 3 sets of parents over his lifetime from the ages of about 10 to 15, and out of those 6 or so parents the only one that's left alive is Mento (Rita aka Elasti Woman is dead at this point), and the single issue story deals heavily with that "depressed, traumatized teenager who laughs in order to stop himself from crying" thing that is the core of the comics BB character.

In The old Teen Titans comics in the 80's, Robin was 18 when he formed the team, 19 when he became Nightwing and 20 when he learned Jason Todd, his replacement Robin was killed. Heck, Jason Todd Robin even replaced him on the Teen Titans for a short while.

It’s hard to believe it has been 16 years since the "Things Change” finale of Teen Titans is aired and cut short way too soon after Trouble in Tokyo movie. While we can all accept that Terra wants to start a new life as a school girl and doesn’t want to be a hero anymore, we still have yet to know what Slade is plotting while the Titans are away battling the Brotherhood of Evil. Thus, a Starfire arc is never been made. Let alone explore more of Star's relationship with Blackfire, and their early history on their homeworld Tamaran. Also the minor character Jericho is the son of Slade (as seen in the comics). When we see his and Ravanger's connection to their father? Is Rose's characteristic is much similar of Karai of TMNT? But more importantly, when will this show be revived for season 6 or two more? Fans have grown restless and had been waiting for so long and all we get is the ongoing Teen Titians Go! Which displeases fans whom grown up with the original. Since we have see Samurai Jack been brought back, Warner Bros and DC Comics needs to consider it for this one!

Wasn't there originally a plan where they were going to continue with a Season 6 but decided to cancel? :( Such a shame. If the fandom is still active they might as well do it. So many platforms to watch on now, unlike before where it was limited to TV.

Yeah, I think TTG to the Movies was supposed to be the setup for TTG vs TT and Tara Strong had teased that it would be a push for Season 6 if the interest is there. Maybe covid ruined it.

By the end of the 5 seasons, Robin’s actually the perfect age to become Nightwing. Cyborg likely joins the Justice League around the same time.

It is such a shame this version was so short lived and TTG has been on the air so long. I couldn't make myself like it. A big part of what made me like the original TT so much was it's dark tone. And the new version is it's polar opposite. I guess it is ment for children. But the original TT still has an actively large fan base. I think it make good money if it came back. The original viewers are grown now. And adults have their own money. We would support it if it came back. In fact I would donate my own money just to help bring it back. I'm sure a lot of other people would too. We should do something about it. Or at least tell Netflix to help us out.

Even the comic left it bittersweet. The rationality that she would want to "forget" the past to protect herself and others is completely sound, but at the same time we wish Terra would be directly honest with Beast Boy instead of feigning amnesia. But I can understand, all that trauma had to have done a number on her.

I honestly find Terra's life to be quite similar to Elsa's, they both have powers, they were both afraid of their own powers and ran away from home, and they both came from royalty. Anybody else see the similarities?
