We saw it today, really struck me. It's so evocative. Reminds me of the summer I worked in the States and other working-class places like it in the Carribean. We loved it.

Love how these wonderful images represent a definable and distinctive period in American history. I have trouble these days discerning if an image was shot in 2004 or 2024....the homogeneity seems pervasive. IMHO

So interesting! I worry a lot about the horizon being leveled, but noticed that a lot of the pictures on this book are crooked, and yet they look amazing! Great video, thank you!

Totally get that! I'm usually critical of that on myself but when others do it, it doesn't bother me.

the frame's subject is what regulates the level, not the horizon itself! Shooting wide angle (around 28mm and wider) shows you how much this is the case. Leveling around the horizon often leave you with too much empty space!
