Yeah but pretty typical of these videos. Win? It was thanks to Droodles in spite of his team or why X tank is good. Lose? Team's fault or it's an example of why X tank sucks. These videos can be helpful but man his attitude can really ruin it.
Honestly believe that concept 1b can still be very op in certain positions and maps. Overall it’s a great tank, the accuracy is great, the gun depression is perfect while featuring very solid mobility and the tank overall is just great for playing in general in random battles
I gotta admit I've been loving the emergency track reverse, been waiting for the video, concept still runs the same, it still feels like the same solid tank just better now
*Correction* Timestamp 4:18 - 4:22 & 6:08 - 6:22 the Concept's side armor is incredibly good a side scraping (I looked at BlitzHanger) except a small weak spot by the engine. The tank is good at both hull-down and side-scraping.
when side scraping, the lower spot of the turret is also no longer covered by the front bump on the hull, making it a weakspot at around 250 also, keep in mind that, at the angle at which you need to be to poke a corner without showing your front, your sides would be at about 250mil, without taking into account normalization, making it an easy pen with high pen AP or APCR prammo
@@LeLe-pm2pr Wiggling your tank back and forth both increase and decrease your effective armor. At a 70 degree angle some parts are between ~300 and impenetrable. (999+). I get your point but there are good "troll" spots. Also at a 80 degree angle the lower hull side armor can be over 400 mm. WG has a video on the Concept 1B on their WoT PC channel.
Rule of a thumb. Meds lights and tds mostly behefit from dpm. Especially meds for dogfighting. Heaves are about trading so more pen means better chance of biting back.

I've just bought this tank. And i feel it has a good balance for what i want. Its quiet nimble for a large tank. Takes a lot of smack and gives it back with interest as well.
I got complained by teammate when using this tank, I didn't know how to use this tank at first bcs I got it in mystery box 5x, anyway now I know how to use it, thank you so much
@DroodlesBlitz During the first battle the ammo that disappeared didn't disapear but shoot armor that is because of what i would call death shield. Its a small shield around tank that are dead, that means that you cannot shoot trought them.
Dude it's not nerfed it's just as good as it's ever been the turret armor did not change, it got a reserve track, and more dpm, and all it lost was 2 km of reverse which wouldn't help you that much anyway and it lost some shell velocity about 300m but it's a heavy you shouldn't be using it across the map and depend on shell velocity to hit your shots because you should be in the front line
Always thought the idea of this tank sounded scary… Then I had a game against it last night where an enemy concept 1b was hull down….but yet I could see entire grey patches on the roof of the turret… Now I’m questioning everything
got 1b last second today. its pretty much the tier 8 t34 on steroid. I havent been this kinda brainless play style on heavy for a long time lol. normally I need to value the different ground angles on the maps
The fact they didn’t increase the heat and took away reverse speed is a nurf. The mechanic is a scam, the concept never suffered track issues. Just getting flanked because it has no pen. Rush it and you will crush it. Face hug you can still pen side top. It sucks. Nobody plays it. You can only toon to work with a person to help you.
Despite I’m still have hate relationship with Concept. Not a bad buff shell velocity affects only on this tank range engagement. But again, who uses HTs on range engagement that would be stupid. So making concept as a Hulldown Brawler, although, more annoying to deal with now due to track mechanics with also improved reverse track mechanics. Means that now I can’t track dead in the water on this thing anymore to ruin their game. Anyways, I still know about the cupola weakspot.
