I smiled yup! Seen him live out door concert. Incredible, Just like I knew he was gonna be. Love Joe Walsh little trivia u might not know.... he sold Jimmy Page a 59 Les Paul in "69" helping out the sound of the mighty Zep👍🏻
I can't put into words what his music has meant to me and how it makes me feel. He NEVER disappoints. I love him and hope he will be around for a long, long time!
So glad he got sober! I remember hearing him many years ago on Howard Stern and he was plastered beyond belief. Thought that we wouldn't have him much longer like so many of his contemporaries. Next time I heard him he had made the commitment to stick around! Thanks Joe!
Stern abused and used him. I hate him for it. It's like kicking someone when they are down just for a laugh. So glad he came out on the other side of it.
I have seen Joe Walsh solo. Since 1978 But seriously folks tour. Then he opened up for Stevie Nicks wild heart tour. Joe's tour was you bought it you name it 1983. I went on to see him for years and years after that I probably seen him 30 times. I seen the eagles with Joe walsh twice. I'm at Joe Walsh a few times. Great guy he was a great guy hammered up when he was drinking and drugging. And even a better guy now that he is sober for over 27 years probably around 30 now. God bless you Joe hope to see you another album don't make it another 20 years thank you
Agreed.....America's Best guitarist. Lyrically....Brilliant. Have grown up listening to him. Cannot imagine a world without his music. Thx. 4 this ( another ) excellent piece of work. :D
I had the absolute honor of seeing Joe's debut of Analog Man at the IHeart Theater in NYC. What a freaking show! Then, I had the the pleasure of meeting him at J&R Music World and had him sign a vinyl version of it. I am in the video, Analog Man Release Week NYC.
We used to go after school and smoke weed and listen to Joe in 1976 I've been a huge fan every since This song was amazing back in 85 or so and still is😊
Great rendition by Joe. He still has it. Of course he's never lost his talent...just his focus. I'm glad he's regained it and listening to that little voice from God now. Can't wait to see what his follow CD will be to 'Analog Man". The man can still Rock. Pay attention to the master youngsters!
Compare all the rock greats on guitar. Usually his name is never mentioned with Page, Clapton, Hendricks, Van Halen, Satriani, etc... . That's cause they all stand in his line behind him.
+Eldon Raison i LOVE joe but slow your roll when you mention those other guys - apples and oranges. plus even joe would say no one has yet matched Hendrix and maybe never will.
30Dec2022 I just discovered this song about 3years ago. It’s now one of my favorite Joe Walsh songs. I love the deep lyrics and Joe’s awesome guitar work.
always loved this tune. takes me back to later 80s (1987?), when i was painting, getting high on the job. been clean for 16 years, and hope to one day burn and jam to this gem.
The bottom has a rocky reputation... Strip you down to size, nekked as the day you were born. Great tune, one of his best, imo. I saw him in 1993 and from the first cord to the last, that stadium was rocking and rolling.
Joe is probably the most underrated guitar player out there, but to me he is one of a kind, with his music and lyrics, so great. He is one of the best rhythm guitar players out there ....
How ya doin'? Seeing Joe later this spring with Bad Company....should be a killer concert. Saw him for the first time in 1981 on the THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD tour. The man is a legend among legends.
Hope Joe plays this tomorrow night. My favorite song. Anxious to hear the recording from Capitol Records of Mick Jaggers, Keith Richards, Ringo Starr and Tai Welkenfield plus others. Everything Joe does turns to Gold. Hot Hot Hot...musician!
Always loved Joe Walsh, there is no one like him. And Joe can play a guitar, love the guitar riff in the Confessor. Thanks kmm1412!!!! Any live footage of Rosewood Bitters????
