A video showing our day traveling across Connecticut stopping at several comic shops. I added some time stamps if you wanted to just check out the stores but you'll miss all the fun in between. The guys from 3 Men in a Basement really did the work to make this happen. Big thanks to those guys. A big thanks to Guy as well for making all those sandwiches.

LOVE Sarge's. I was stationed at the submarine base across the bridge in Groton for 5 years - 1995 to 2000. They used to have a 2nd smaller shop there as well. Always lots of good books.

At 32:23 "I don't know anything about comics." Who are you kidding? Lol. Great video vlog especially the comic crawl hunting for raw books. I really enjoyed this video, I'd definitely would like to do something like that that's really cool. The last comic shop with the basement was insane and the last three other comic spots as well even the garage comic spot. If it were going to either one of the comic spots I'd stay there hours on end with a couple of lists of comics to buy literally that's what I'd do, just wow cool video. Keep up the great work like to see more of the comic crawl raw book hunting adventure continue.

Great video buddy..wish we had shops like that in the UK..I know nothing about comics ..but big marvel and Constantine fan..started to collect the new run of hellblazer before lockdown ..any UK comics to look for I do come across these in charity shop and garage sales..I'll keep an eye on your videos for sure.. didn't realize that it's so insane in USA 👍😁

My name is Chris. Was doing some digging at my LCS last week and scooped up a beauty copy of Adam Legend of the Blue Marvel #1 for, get this,.....50 cents!!! Gotta say this is my best find in the wild ever! Cheers! Also, great vid!

Wow, shopping for comics there is SO much cooler than here in the UK where I cycle about three miles, usually in the pouring rain, and then emit steam for 15 minutes while I pick up my pull list, before cycling home, again, in the pouring rain. I wanna live in America!

Your crawl was,’let the good times roll!’...You had a good mix, hopefully no unrecorded altercations, enjoyed it, just as a third party viewer...retired now, maybe I’ll start the nation tour...of course after a vaccine for C-19 comes out and is thoroughly tested...can’t have all those work years wasted by getting sick...best of luck...roll on!!!

Honestly your experience at sarges was the “people are gonna watch this”. I live 20 minutes from there and he treats 99 percent of his customers like street trash. Times I’ve been in there and some bug guy was on the phone yelling obscenities at someone about a shipment that came in. Very hostile place to go.

Hey Gary next time you’re in Connecticut you should check out alternate universe in Milford. It’s nothing spectacular but it’s a quality shop. Smaller shop but it has its charm

the guy with the garage setup, i see him on the auction circuit. If he wants something watch out he'll pay top dollar. He did toss me a bone once, we were trying not to bid each other up too much, being the top dogs in that particular auction.

Nice I live in CT go to sarges once every few months. If your in CT again Gary you should check out Uncle Fred’s in Deep River CT. I go there all the time it’s a small little comic shop in my town that only has older comics and the owner is really cool
