8:51- That's Cassandra, an absolute beast to play and incredibly difficult not to rush, but one of my favourites in the show. it's written really interestingly. the rhythm in that section your singing is right, and you were pretty close with the signatures but he writes it differently. On the chart, it split across three different bars with different signatures, a 3/4 bar, a 4/4 bar and a 6/4 bar. "Half the" are two dotted crotches (3/4 bar), "sto-ries of the" are all quavers, "world" is a dotted crotchet, "are" is a quaver (4/4), and "left un writ-ten" are all dotted crotchets (6/4).
I was so luck to see it, I heard about the show when standing for the rush line of the notebook and didn’t get tickets for anything that day so I decided to walk to the theatre an hour before the show and got student rush tickets and it was amazing.

I heard you singing this song and realized that there is a recording of at least one song (not this one) from the show and it's been out for several years now. It's in Jason's Library of Congress concert at about 33 minute mark. Idk if that song is still in the show, if it has been cut or if it's literally the same but it exists :)
