The Contest - (aka: The Great Crepitation Contest of 1946) - Fart Comedy 

OMG! Thank you, thank you, thank you. This was a "78" that my Dad brought home, borrowed from a co-worker. He played it on Easter morning after we 3 kids had found our easter chocolates. We kids loved bathroom humour as most do. (My mother was quite pissed at Dad as she never approved of bawdy ideas or jokes and usually pretended to 'not get the joke'.) What a blast from the past! Again, thank you.

My brother Dwight played this record one day back in 1961 He played it as loud as he dared. When I got in front of his bedroom door off our living room, all of a sudden I heard this “Ohhhh He SHIT! The Champion is Disqualified!!! Dr. Demento plays this on his syndicated show that you can stream for a small fee. I was only five myself.

No matter what age, race, creed, color, social standing ect. one may be, a FART will ALWAYS bring , at least, a smile if not gut busting laughter.

Ahahahahaha. No matter how many times I hear this, I still laugh so hard I can't even breathe. Ahahahahaha 😅

My Uncle emigrated to Canada from England in the 1950s, and came across this which he recorded on reel-to-reel tape, as he worked for RCA Canada. He explained that the RCA (?) engineers were bored one day, or felt like mischief, so used the studios to make this record off-the-record. When their bosses found out, they almost all lost their jobs, he recorded. But it's a classic, and has been passed down in my family until now!

A good friend from grade school onward played this 78rpm record of his dad's for me in the late 60's, his dad was a dentist who was into gas I guess.
