Whenever there is a story of controversy of a pre-2016 youtuber of particular note, you can almost be 100% certain Keem will become relevant somehow. His very DNA is tied to that era of the platform
Wings is someone who every time I start to feel pity or he shows his human side, there manages to be something terrible that shatters that illusion. Dude is like a documentary on how not to live or act.
You really, *really* want to give him the benefit of the doubt, to see him succeed, and just have people leave him alone in his little corner because he's suffered enough already, especially from people who only seem to want to torture him and couldn't give less of a fuck about his actual wellbeing or his desire to improve himself and actively put his livelihood in danger with police swats and the like, nothing more than glorified bullying. The he does or says something truly awful and you just have to rub your head going "God damn it, Wings" as he somehow continues to give people reasons to want to see his downfall. At this point his best chance at living a psuedo-normal, stress free life is going offline, moving somewhere far away and trying to find work in place where *hopefully* no one knows who he is or cares to alert people to where he is.
@Madness how can you blame someone for getting swatted over an opinion? He's a total asshole and I feel exactly like the original comment but what the hell people get killed in swattings
Lmao the sudden shift to him and his wife being supposedly arrested for aggravated robbery gave me such strong whiplash, I was fully ready to believe it, too
I know right? The guy's story is enough of a rollercoaster that I was seriously wondering if it was real or not, with most lolcows like this I'd have at assumed it was fake from the start.
I didn't personally believe because I didn't think wings could run away at all. I think it was extremely inappropriate for trolls to say he did the robbery and a bit legitimately harmful, much like the other incident where they pretended to be him and got police sent to his house.
My favorite part is when his wife defends him with a logical and sensible take, yet Wings calls it a terrible take and proceeds to dig himself a deeper hole. That 62 IQ working overtime.
He gets worse every day. He doesn't spend any real time with his wife and despite the fact that a pay pig donates a three figure number to him on an almost regular basis, he still cries that it isn't enough. He honestly feels he is entitled to other people's money because he has bills just like everyone else.
Yeah, I just, I cannot understand why you would spend hours and hours of your life, dedicated to hating and ruining a dude's life. Like you said. It just... it makes 0 sense. I understand being like "yeah that guy sucks". But to make compilation videos, have years of compilation videos of this guy is just... it's wild.
“Certainly the most destructive vice if you like, that a person can have. More than pride, which is supposedly the number one of the cardinal sins - is self pity. Self pity is the worst possible emotion anyone can have. And the most destructive. It is, to slightly paraphrase what Wilde said about hatred, and I think actually hatred's a subset of self pity and not the other way around - ' It destroys everything around it, except itself" -Steven Fry
Well put. Between watching this for the first time today and coming back to Knudsen’s video a few times, I’ve had to question why I engage with this kind of content. The truth is it helps me keep myself motivated. I’m a long shot from where Jordie is in many ways but the underlying themes of laziness, inability to self-motivate or create self-discipline, and unwillingness to take responsibility for one’s actions are… well, inspiring.
Wings is like a poorly written comic book character where the author has no idea what to do with him half the time you feel bad for him the other half you wana punch him
But that would make him a compelling and good character. One that is misguided and makes bad decisions, not out of malice, but because he doesn't know any better.
@@ectothermic nah everytime anything goes his way he becomes arrogant and starts shit talking even tho that is the reason his in his current situation he never stoped lying even tho that just adds more ammo for people to criticize him he doesn't value anything unless he might lose it like his wife and he never commits to anything even when he clearly was happy with the result like when her he tries to lose weight but then just starts eating and brings him back to square 1 like the author wants to develop his character but just keeps him making him his same old self even things that should make him change like his wife are just a gimmick

Thank you for this summary. Now I don't have to watch the hour-long "documentary". Whew, almost watched 3:00 of this nonsense before reading your comment.
So when his wife is crying right in front of him, he doesn't give a damn and just ignores her but when she's flirting with someone he suddenly loves her so much and is hurt by it? To me, from my experience, that sounds like he views her more as a possession than a partner. He doesn't actually care about her until someone else shows interest and than it's all "she's mine, don't touch my stuff".
I agree, but did want to put out my personal experience with something like this. My wife is pretty sensitive and emotional, and it's something we both acknowledge, and even joke about. So there are times I ignore her crying, sometimes she just wants to get the tears out I guess and I can't really help. But I also don't think that's their relationship, and the stuff we saw seems like she legit had a problem that he could have helped with, but then just didn't. I think he shuts down when he's confronted by emotions and we just saw what that is like.
I remember seeing this video when it came out, and being pissed but thanks to this video I now see it's just a thing that can happen in any relationship and people were indeed making it way out than what it seems
He’s addicted to the thing that makes his life miserable. Addiction is really such a spectrum of things. I’d genuinely feel bad for him if I didn’t know of wings’ legendarily depressing lore.
At this point every time I hear about Wings being on the up I just get preemptively disappointed because it’s Wings, and much like the sun will rise in the east and set in the west, so too must Wings spiral.
I genuinely feel bad for him when I hear about him getting swatted or breaking down it hurts my heart because it’s someone truly in pain but then I remember it’s Richard and how he treats his fans and literally everyone horribly and I feel a little better, then I see big boy eat a banquet meal or scarf down some spaghetti and I just grin from ear to ear
I just want to say that Wings and Nikocado are my two biggest inspirations. They represent everything wrong with the bad habits that I fell into after my life fell apart. These guys gave me the push I needed to get healthy. I'm happy to report that I'm a little over three months in and I'm down almost 55 pounds and dropping and am well on my way to achieving my goal weight. I hear a lot of people say something along the lines of 'we shouldn't cover people like this because it only promotes them', but coverage of people like this saved my life. Without people holding up a magnifying glass to these people and their terrible habits, I would probably still be eating myself to an early grave.

@@cn.st.182In the context of content creation on youtube it was and still is one of the most influental moments. Watching him happily play video games while his wife sobs in the background is genuinely grim. Watching him talk in the car abt how sensitive she is while her eyes are still red is so appalling
Lmao "happily"? Dont twist the narrative. WoR is a very broken person, and he sure as hell was even more broken at that moment in time considering he was supposed to go to his grandmother's... memorial we'll say. It doesn't take a doctorate in psychology to see how visibly upset he is. This in no way gives him the right to treat his wife like shit, but saying he's "happily playing video games" just seems so, for a lack of a better term, wrong to me.
@@gdmewmewgod6653 agreed it's more like he was just doing it as a way to avoid taking responsibility and focusing on something other than the uncomfortable situation
It's less about him being happy and more about him having a legitimate addiction. Let's replace playing video games with say...beer...and we get a better picture of where his brain is.
Wings is truly inspirational. He inspires to me to improve myself and not let my life devolve into complete and utter shit. Because being like him would be living a nightmare.
he really makes us appreciate every little change we make in life. seeing a person hitting their head against the wall several times, really makes us think and not repeat the same mistakes of that person.
To be honest it is probably a lot easier to avoid that when people aren't constantly harassing you. I'm not saying Wings isn't a terrible person but I think without the "trolls" constantly trying to make his life worse than it already is, he would be doing at least a little better.

wings brings it on himself by feeding the trolls. the only way to make trolls go away is ignore them and keep ignoring them until they give up everytime you acknowledge them, it resets their timer. this isnt anything shocking, its pretty much public knowledge...
In his defense on that ONE point, and absolutely nothing else, as someone who experiences multiple health problems (not weight related btw) I understand the reasons though. It gets exhausting listening to the same advice you've heard 100x times from people who don't get it. Depending on what he meant by life advice, but I assumed it was related to the weight loss stuff. Sometimes people need to realize what works for them won't work for others, and that persons probably heard it all before.
I saw a clip of him giving life advice to a viewer, and someone added Skyrim's Whiterun music to it lol He probably shouldn't give advice about things he knows nothing about
@@Angst1337Accumulation See that's the interesting thing about Wings, you can almost see where he's coming from with even some of his worst statements or takes, but they're hindered by his lack of ability to properly express himself clearly and with nuance.

Any shred of sympathy I could have had for Wings is long gone. His constant lying, excuses, and sheer narcissism make it hard not to hate him, and his past comments about child abuse, animal abuse, and the age of consent are the nail in the coffin. Wings is never in the wrong, nothing in his life is his fault, it's all the trolls doing. He refuses to take any sort of accountability for his own actions. He'll defend a teenager being groomed by an adult, but if you call him out on it, he'll say he was a 23 year old kid back then just saying it for "shock value". He is an absolutely disgusting human being, and has no one to blame but himself for the state of his life
He killed a kitten by putting a bucket on top of it resulting in its death. He can rot, fuck him. You're right, he's a disgusting human being. Now that I've become wise of this, I'm going to enjoy watching his inevitable down fall.
Man I started feeling bad for him once. Then like 10 seconds later he said "man I fuckin hate Trump I hope Bernie Sanders wins" and I immediately lost all sympathy for him lol
I feel that we all do. Our mothers could have easily not given a shit about us, but they went to the ends of the earth to ensure that we were well-taken care of and became the people we are today. Had Wings had a parent or a parental figure like that, he wouldn't be at this point in his life.
He's one of those people that I wish would just step away from RU-vid and Twitch for good. It's clear that he couldn't handle all that attention and it made him even worse. It reminds me of Dale's quote: "Just because you have their attention doesn't mean you have their respect".
True but he needs to understand he did this and now he has to deal with it. Its not going to be easy to find a job after 14 years of laziness he will have to find someplace that will not only understand who he was and be willing to deal with that. People will call his job trying to get him fired. (This is 100% not ok by the way) But it will happen and he needs to understand its because of himself that its happing and his job will have to be willing to deal with it and yes trolls will show up to bug him (also not ok) but it also will happen. He needs to deal with it by telling them that's not who I am anymore I have moved on and so should you and if they don't stop he 100% has the right to get the law involved. But this "Oh I cant get a job because of trolls" is BS he spews out. He can get a job and move on from being a lazy leech of a man its going to be WAY harder then any normal person getting a job but he made it that way with his behaver and as much as its 100% NOT OK to Troll his real life its sadly the world we live in and he has to deal with it. The fault is on both sides yes but remember he told us where to find him over the internet breaking rule 1 never disclose your personal info online especially after saying the age of consent should be 12.
@@thewayofthechinchilla2786 Yeah I think hes either worried he wont be able to find a job to hire him, or he physically wont be able to do a job. @@thewayofthechinchilla2786 So back in 2018, a troll put a fake resume out on him. It’s since been deleted but in it, it described Wings as being a fat, racist, pedophile who attends white nationalist events. Every attempt he has made to get out in the real world whether it was finding another source of income or meeting people has been sabotaged by the trolls. His DoorDash job got axed because of them, a girl he was dating back in 2017-18 broke up with him over it. Even with his internet job, the trolls have broken laws to mess with him. Friendly fraud AKA chargeback fraud was a common tactic they’d use to at the very least complicate his relationship with his payment processor. There is not a single thing Wings has done that warrants any of this at all. “Hey we’re swatting wings and putting his family’s life in danger because he said mean things on the internet 10 years ago.” See how stupid that sounds?

He has now made Kelly cry and stream twice told her to her face he didn't marry her for love and worst of all was when she tried to get comfort from him about her cancer maybe coming back. His response was "Grow up and Deal with it". One of my fav troll lies was from the first lions den when someone told him "How dose it feel to know everyone in this chat use to love you be fans and now are here because they fucking hate you because of the way you treated them?" and he keeps on doing it old trolls move on but he always makes more.
The fact that Wings decided to not only back out of the celebration for his grandma for a stream and to continue the stream while his wife was crying in the background is crazy
Considering how stupid (unfortunately) Wing is, he probably thought that if he ended the Stream because of his wife he will be seen like less of a man an troll will attack him for it.
This is exactly why people need more than one hobby imo. He really loved gaming and he was fortunate to turn it into a career. But when your only source of joy becomes a job, you won't enjoy it as much since it's more of an obligation than a pastime. At the moment, he doesn't seem willing to even take a break from streaming, let alone gaming. But those things are also the source of his stress. If he just picked up a different hobby and stepped away from the toxicity of the internet just a little bit, I think he has a good shot at self-improvement.
I felt this when I had serious depression and basically used gaming as a coping mechanism. I don't think he necessarily needs a new hobby but I can't see how your life being dictated by your hobby is a good thing.
@@lukebytes5366 doesn't necessarily need a hobby but he definitely needs a life outside of the internet. He basically just needs to step away from his stressors for a bit and the easiest way to feel motivated to do so is to have other priorities or interests. Otherwise, you get consumed by this one thing and you start to lose touch with reality.
This goes way deeper than that. Jordie has been a person that's always stayed in his bubble and time and time again he's managed to stay within it which has lead to zero growth.
I disagree a bit about the hobby as a job part. I do my hobby as a job and I never started liking it less because of it. Imo, Wingo has the Lolcow Combo: anger issues plus a thin skin. Even if he had a hobby outside of his livelihood, he would get angry over it with any failure, just as he easily flips his pants and smash controllers when he gets fragged in CoD.
His picture ending up on an actual news report talking about an IG page for finding victims of the Beirut blast. Felt bad for laughing. But damn. RIP Bernie Gores

Good job. Don’t be like wings and regain the weight. Exercise 5 days a week. Don’t eat more than 3000 per day. Always always record ur calories. That’s what I do.
I gave up on him. Every time I start feeling bad and wish for him to get better in life, he manages to pull out some comment or action that just shatters that hope thoroughly. He's his own worst enemy sadly. I mean, the trolls aren't helping but lets be honest, he won't stop. Hell, he can't stop. He's addicted to it and it pays his bills. It's a depressing circle that never ends, but it will end someday.
He isn't his own worst enemy, the trolls are. Before the trolls, wings wasn't really hurting anyone but himself. He acted a fool and was clearly ignorant, but it was never amplified outside the gaming community. The trolls took this to another level. @@MS-pd7fc you make a good point, I agree that the trolls are a significant factor of his spiral. However he is still his own worst enemy because his actions regularly enable them. The trolls are big because they've been fed so much, and he's not taking sufficient steps to deflate them imo.
@@SirNightmareFuel no, these trolls are not being forced and wings is not "enabling" them. These people are making the personal decision to harass him, full stop. Wings' biggest weakness is the victim card. Him playing the victim every time is what gets him the hate. He is stuck in a limbo of too much ego when he's big, and too much playing the victim when he's done, and that contradiction is what makes people dislike him.
Agreed. He craves the attention, and since he's talentless and lazy, the only way he knows how to get it is by playing victim and complaining. It's obvious where this is headed if he doesn't make some major changes.
Playing the victim is just more ego. It's the "I can do no wrong, ergo this has to be someone else's fault. Poor me!" manifestation of ego. It's an absolute staple of the nar¢issist's playbook.
I'm trying to figure out if he's an overt narcissist or a subvert one. Difference being one is cocky as shit. The other is constantly acting like their pain is the most important. It's more complicated but I've experienced both and good God is subvert so much more annoying. It feels like Jordie does both which is probably why it's not working to get people to tolerate or pity him

Depression and social anxiety are a common and terrible combination. The former makes you irritable, while the latter makes you sensitive to criticisms. Both cause self-loathing. Mental illness doesn't excuse bad behavior, tho, and you have to choose and make an effort in getting help and getting better. It's almost insulting, like ffs dude I felt bad for you and then you did something reprehensible.
I think it's also the fact that his trolls are so insane that it makes him seem like a victim. If the trolls weren't such psychopaths, no one would have sympathy for him.
Yeah me too, when I watched the first video Joon made about Jordie I genuinely felt bad for him and wanted him to get better, but then he proceeds to do stupid shit that makes me dislike him even more (especially his clip when his wife cried and he kept playing Dark Souls - a game he can actually PAUSE). I think Jordie is a person who's not willing to change whatsoever therefor his life will continue to be a trainwreck, I do think that at least Jordie can set an example on what NOT to do.
I've met enough people like him to realize after 30+ years on this earth... This is how some people live and they have no desire to change it. Truly. Makes me sad to see, but you can't change somebody who doesn't want to change on their own.
Aside from the mix of pity and "you brought it on yourself" feelings I'm mostly depressed by how he treats his wife. Someone who is willing to put up with him and all his awful baggage along with continued terrible decisions shouldn't have to put up with even a fraction of what he does.
Wings: *Cancels on his wife on going to a celebration of life ceremony - one of the most emotionally charged things an adult will likely attend - 15 mins before they were supposed to go* Wing's wife: *Starts crying* Wings: "Did I do this...? No, must be bariatirc pressure in the atmosphere"
@41:10 - Even if his wife was really sensitive, that is a shit excuse. He decided to get married to her and thus he should accept the responsibility to help his wife when she needs him.
You left out the reason they call him a vacuum parts salesman! They say that because they charge back donations by saying he was going to sell them vacuum parts and they never came in the mail or something. It adds an extra layer of funny to know the origin story of it, to me. It’s why he gets so mad about it
The reason I'll never feel sorry for wings is when he feels he's on top of the world, or the top of the leader board in kills he never fails to talk the absolute most shit ever to literally everyone, friends or trolls alike. When he is down, he then constantly pulls the victim card and acts like the entire world is against him like he has never done anything wrong or done anything toxic in his life.
Lol his reasoning for the comment was "everyone I grew up around was having sex at 12!" Well maybe so jordie but I doubt they were having sex with ADULTS. THE AGE OF CONCENT DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO BE OVER 18 TO BANG! 😂
@@AdamOwenBrowning so his reasoning is like "honestly murder should be legal guys I mean cmon. I knew dudes who murdered and dudes who've been murdered"
To ignore someone like that when they’re crying like that is cruel af. I’ve had it done to me and being outright ignored is worse than being told to stop. Both bad but at least one acknowledges you.
I mean. Being ignored kinda sucks, but maybe don't start bawling cause a plan changed and you're a grown adult? Like I understand he could've done more than what he did and hes a pos.
It was worse when he was getting trolled about his masculinity and she refused to go to bat for him, instead she trolled him too. Even a lot of trolls and PKA thought that shit was absolutely fucked to do.
@@ATthemusician That's her own resentment shining through. The way he keps neglecting her, making excuses for her, talking for her on streams, etc. He doesn't defend her, so she saw no need to defend him either. Plus, there's also the chance she didn't want to lie on his behalf and say "oh he's got a tree trunk down there, trust me."
To be honest, I don't think the lack of editing you're referring to in this video is as major as you might think. When it comes to documentary/critique style works, I don't pay as much attention to the editing, so long as the video bitrate/graphical fidelity is decent, the sound balancing isn't all over the place, the information is supported by relevant clips, and you don't repeat stuff every 5-10 minutes. As for "Update" or "non-update" videos, that doesn't matter to me either. As long as you have relevant, interesting, and accurate information to share, I'm sure you'll do just fine.
wings of redemption is a man that honestly will never have my full compassion. sure, i feel bad for him, but the man did this to himself. he was toxic to everyone around him, pushed all his friends away and even mocked or threatened them. he threatened woodys teenage daughter even if im not mistaken. i knew what kind of person eh was when i saw how he treated keemstar in their first encounter. say what you want about keemstar, on that first encounter he was definitely the "good guy". wings threatened to doxx him and his girlfriend, even threatened to go to their houses himself. after that i knew exactly what kind of person he is, he likes to abuse the little power he has. thats why when i see him like he is now, i feel bad but i understand that he did this to himself. if he wasnt so confrontational and egotistical, which is a very bad combination with his insecurities, the positive side of his following wouldve grown and eventually overshadow the negative, but as people saw the real him in how he acted and treated other people they began to stop supporting him or even became his detractors.
At least everything Christina did seems reactionary, even that incident - it seems like snapping. Christina really had no control of her life and certainly did not act to make it worse barring that incident. Jordan is far worse and this saga will literally only end with a pitiful death, a quiet exit, or a hell of a crime that might also result in death.
Yes his trolls are trash and I don't use that word lightly. Wings is definitely an example of trolls just being worthless people. (Inbefore someone says BUT WINGS DID BAD THING, no shit doesn't change the trolls behavior). Edit: I'm not wishing or even happy about this guy's downfall, I just feel bad.
I don't see the point in trolling. It's not fun on either sides. And if you get kicks at trolling someone then man your life must suck even more than the person you're trolling. Because it's sad and rather pathetic.
His trolls are infinitely worse than he ever was. Much like a lot of these lolcow dudes. The only person I can think of that is maybe worse than his trolls is DSP. Phil to this day as irrelevant as he is now is still begging for money from people even though he's rich as shit and doesn't need it. LTG has Technicals there to try and turn him around lately and far as I'm aware has been a lot different.
@@FallenAngelHiroko half the time its not trolling. I can admit there is definitely trolling. But the other half literally just uploads parts of his live stream. Being someone who watches both Richard's stream and highlight channels. There is nothing cut or taken out of context, Richard is a raw open human being that needs to be held accountable for what he says and does to people who support him.
Parts of this hurt me… if his grandma was so important he couldn’t just stop streaming to go see her? Like man one of my biggest regrets is not talking to my great grandma before she died, and the discussion of watching someone slowly suffer and die in-front of you is…almost brought me to tears because I just thought of my grandmother. Games are always there-family isn’t and the little moments you have to cherish before their really gone often get taken for granted
A small note in Jordie's interview with Knuddson showed that even though he admitted to skimming through the video, he acknowledged the video was legitimate and fair. ("I don't need a recap on my life" is a direct confession to the legitimacy of the documentary) and I gotta give him respect for not trying to weasel his way out of the more embarrassing parts of his life.
That is until a year later when it became "The only video that came even close was Fredrick Knuddson. Amd even then he completely took me out of context."
An excellent return to Joon OG form- not overproduced, not spastic five second images that invoke epileptic fits- just solid commentary and investigation with original, but duely repurposed footage. Cheers, Joon.
Man I feel bad for Wing's sister, having her "feminine odor" issues made public. Please leave her alone people, she doesn't have anything to do with Wingo.
He is institutionalized in a way. A prisoner of his own mind. Too afraid to escape from his own mind and also himself in general. Just like how a prisoner is scared to be free after being locked behind bars for decades.
I just realized that we are all watching the demise of Wings in real time. Due to the fact that he has to much anxiety to reintegrate into society, he will never get off the internet. I believe whether it be in a year or 10, we will witness the death of Wings, and everything leading up to it.
Yup. He's in what? His late 30s? will eventually get diabetes, die from a heart attack or some other disease that follows obesity. At this point he would only change if he went to a therapist and support group. Which I wish he did.
Random tiny correction/question @ 23:00 is that Yoohoos aren’t carbonated. It’s basically just artificial shelf stable chocolate milk usually in little boxes (like those juice boxes with the straws) and glass bottles. Never seen them in cans but they’re probably around, but I’ve had them before a fair amount and they’re certainly not carbonated. They would probably taste pretty bad if they were carbonated lol
@@thisisntanoption702 I can’t remember if there’s no dairy in them or if they’re based on like, dried milk. They’re not using normal milk that’s for sure, and it does make it shelf stable. Those things last a pretty long time
Wings' biggest mistake was being far too open with his audience about things that are quite frankly, nobody's business. E.g. him telling everyone about his and his wife's bodily afflictions... what business is that of anyone? Your viewers are not your friends. If you're not writing a book, keep it to yourself. This is what happens when your lack of boundaries and a desire to build a connection, isn't properly managed. When you don't have boundaries, it means you don't respect yourself and will tell anybody anything, and that's when people kinda start to lose respect for you--people will start to think "well, I can just get this guy to tell me what ever I want about his life".
Yeah like he’s a real piece of work but someone who dedicates all their time in a discord about him to le troll him is probably not much better when it comes to human decency .
WingsOfRedemption is the Living Proof that once you feed the Trolls, they can realy make your Life Hell. When Trolling becomes Harassment, you´ve gone to far....but thats something the Internet will never learn.
Kinda ironic when he calls himself "Wings of redemtion" yet when he got multiple chances to do so, he just never did. There will never be a redemtion arc for this guy
WingsOfRedemption is one of those entities where I've never been active in any communities surrounding him, yet I still find him so fascinating. He's like a super combination of negative human traits and I hope I'm never like him. I couldn't imagine treating my girlfriend the way he does his wife. Just writing her emotional struggles off in favor of streaming seems unfathomable to me. Additionally, I struggle with anxiety in a similar way to him but I've been to therapy for it and do my best to not let it control me. He's like the ultimate cautionary tale.
I love the honesty in this video, it was really good to see considering these are real people and they do deserve a “fair shake” when it comes to discussing their character. That being said I like how this really does portray Wings as he truly is, a chaotic neutral that allows himself to be pushed by the things happening around him.
I find it hard to feel sorry for Wings at a certain point. When people who’ve wanted to help him succeed get turned down by him or are made out to be the bad guy, it’s disheartening to say the least. Wings has had countless chances to, not even fix his problems, at least be able to either deal with them or find other happy alternatives. His worst troll is himself. It’s still crazy to see that people still want to help him, despite his lack of wanting to help himself or accept help. He makes up excuses for this and for that and at some point, one would just throw their hands up and say well I give up. I’m trying to look at this as unbiased as possible but if I am, let me know. I think Wings is an interesting case because he is capable of doing good things, it’s just all the negative things he’s said or done just overshadows it.
Wings is an example of the dangers of social websites. This is a guy with literally non-existent self esteem who fell into a hate spiral because he was able to put himself on the internet for all to see, and he wasn't strong enough to deal with the negativity. He's not sinless, obviously, but so much of this likely would never have happened if he'd just been forced to get a regular job and live his life in private.
Wings is a sympathy pendulum. I go from laughing with him, feeling sorry for him to feeling embarrased for him and outright being mad in a matter of minutes. How can a very likable man be so self destructive and unhinged
Seeing this in my recommended brought back a flood of so many memories. From the original PKA days to the more recent years of Liquid Richard's bangers, Sean Ranklin, the finger sniffing. It all came flooding back. It was quite a community we built around this guy and his spiral. Although it is genuinely sad to hear that Gangsta Grandma died, I hope that she will rest in peace.
Wings likes to pretend that trolls just absolutely hate him for no reason but literally everyone felt horrible about Gangsta Grandma and gave Wings well wishes and sympathy
i mean its pretty sad your lives where that pathetic you had to harass and abuse somebody with clear mental struggles just to make you feel a little better about your self
Wings is an example of chronically online. he doesn't need to interact with the people he does online at all if he chooses not to and he'd probably feel a lot better if he didn't yet he chooses to be infinitely stressed out and hard focus on these people instead
As someone who has struggled with anxiety and depression, it's hard to let stuff go. Things get into your mind and just get stuck there, like a tick or a tumor, and they fester until you think it's worse than it really is. It's sad to watch someone have to deal with the same thing and not get better.
yeah it sucks people go theough it but it still doesnt excuse the fact that he has said some crazy stuff like aoc should be 12 and saying the n word or killing a kitten leaving it in a bucket to die which i highly doubt you have ever done ive gone through this before but ive never done the stuff he does or said the stuff he said just because you have anxiety or depression doesnt make what he did right no matter what@@DreadnoughtDT
"Why are you not monetizing the circus?" EXACTLY. No matter how much Wings has claimed streaming isnt his "job". Its his life and that's the problem. If he really viewed it as a job he'd be profiting sooo much off the chaos. And eventually the trolls would go away
Because Wings can't stand that people see him as a spectacle to laugh at, even if there's money in it. He wants to be popular and known for being such an epic, highly skilled gamer. He's very insecure about the idea of people seeing him as less than a man,
There’s a part of me that appreciates the irony of someone with “wings” in their name falling like this. I would make a joke about how he’s too heavy to fly, but that’s a little morbid even by my standards.
That news clip and then they say a man tried to run cutting to Wings running is so funny. That kind of trolling is great and i love it. The troll channels and compilations are really funny, BUT swatting him and making up fake tiktoks making it seem like he's committing really bad crimes go too far
Weight loss is not just physical but also mental. Can't lose weight if your mind is not in the right place. Depression and anxiety trigger different reflexes in many people. Some people lose weight. Some people gain weight. And it seems like Jordie gains weight from it. He needs to fix his mind if he wants to fix his body.
IMO the dude should take a couple of months off - changing his environment, like maybe a vaccation/trip. In my experience it is a lot easier to change your bad habbits (like drugs) if you put yourself in another physical place then what you are used to. Rent a hut in the woods, bring a shitload of books and some dumbbells, and stay there for 2 months. DONT bring a computer, only a phone, with no browser. I believe it would be pure meditation for him - too bad he is soooo lazy, that it will unfortunately never happen. I lost faith in him years ago :(
@Vanilla Milk A failure with a bigger legacy, name and impact than anyone else in this comment section... I mean fuck its been almost 10 years since his relevance as a Cod RU-vidr and meme and you people are still talking about him, its sad
A couple points to add: He blames the trolls for the weight loss surgery not working, taking no responsibility himself. His grandma's dying wish was for him to look after her dog when she died, and even though he told her would he didn't, and got rid of her dog.
Are you on god serious right now? Cause if so then that's legit the worst thing Wings has ever done, and he can *never* do anything to fix or make up for that.
