Phil actually reacted to this, and for most of the video it was him pausing and calling your facts wrong and saying what actually happened. Now if he was a sane normal person I’d believe him because not everyone is in every second of his daily life and drama, but he lies, manipulates, begs. Etc.

It’s kinda hilarious that DSP constantly complains about terrible balancing, bugs and poor control in other games, but his greatest achievement in the FGC is thanks to bugs, terrible balancing and poor control

You urgently need to make an update video on this man. He uses all his fans' donations to pay for gacha games shown from bank leaks. Like, 1000s of dollars dropped on the regular, often daily. He's a gambler and actively denies any of it despite the blatant evidence. He pretends to be oblivious to it and defiantly scares all his remaining fans off one by one. Edit: and I should mention it's a mystery whether or not his current wife is aware of his habits. He also has very absurd habits of impulsively lying over the most insignificant and miniscule of things, and rages and bans people when they point out when he's lying or wrong. There's endless moments of him abusing his fanbase archived on RU-vid to witness for yourself. And every single stream these days, he throws a fit and guilt trips his audience when he doesn't receive any donations for 30-60 minutes. He literally keeps track of time. He definitely acts poorer than he is. This needs to be brought to light so no one falls for his shit anymore.

Phil is the kind of guy to throw a boomerang, get hit by it, and blame Australia for making such a crappy shuriken. And probably say "Wooow, nothing I could do!". Part 2 when?

It’s been long enough, we need a part 2 DSP himself said he’d react to the video at 400 members on RU-vid, and since this is 6 years old now, it’s time for the update on the last 5 years

Many content creators who faded into obscurity were hit by some kind of bad decision or a tragedy in their personal life taking a toll on their content. DarkSydePhil is one of the few whose poor status and personal struggles are entirely to blame on himself without having broken any laws or getting into legal trouble (with the exception of the S.W.A.T. incident, but that wasn't his fault). He's not a criminal, he's not someone who cheated his way into finding fame, he's just a loser in every sense of the word with an unconsciously massive ego who refuses to learn and take responsibility for his poor behavior, which is all the more sad when you realize that with such a long-lasting career, he had every opportunity to save himself if by simply apologizing.

Update: Phil and PandaLee broke up, dealt with a Catfish scheme, Curse kicking him out and now is pulling the ebegging card, Machinima is dead.

Remember the last time Phil did a debunk stream, it was nothing but him saying, "That never happened". History will repeat itself.

6 years on, Philip is now a middle-aged man and sadly this video is *still* relevant as his behaviour has not changed. Indeed, with a dwindling viewership on his own channel and allegedly heavily relying on tips and direct PayPal contributions he spends an inordinate amount of time begging for money either during play session or directly to camera with the routine excuses of not being able to meet this month's bills and/or being able to purchase new games. As well as continuing to ban viewer that do in fact financially contribute, Philip has also taken to long-form rants about what he calls his "detractors" going so far as to call anyone that doesn't listen to him an "stupid brainless idiots" and dictates to his small fan base to only listen to him. The "detractors" also take the form of a cottage industry of other RU-vid creators that clip and monetise his content much to Philip's chagrin.

As bad as life can be, at least I'll never be this guy

I feel like this heavily needs a part 2, there's been so much crap in the past five years with DSP that you'd be surprised.

This video needs a part two! Bwh god almighty DSP has gotten ten times worse in the past five years. From multiple twitch bans, to being fully banned, hiring an escort, tricking his fans into paying for his wedding, banning fans he's had since day one all just because they don't want to tip him through PayPal, charging his fans for the right....for them to see his cat, TO SEE A CAT, FOR A CAT FRIENDS A CAT! His stupid vest streak, ah! and so much more. It's the train wreck that somehow keeps crashing over and over, it's amazing.

Between all the rants; denial; lies; impatience; and discussing private medical issues relating to his ex-gf online - his biggest problem was a complete lack of self awareness. He lives his life like he's an adult child who has rare moments of maturity.

That fan who got banned by DSP has gotten possibly the sweetest case of revenge. First, popularizing the trend "This is how you don't play X" and not only it was enough to start a meme, it also exposed DSP's bruised ego and him abusing RU-vid's flagging system. Completely ironic that DSP finally got recognition but not in the best way and it actually contributed to his decline by taking away the attention from him. He's a brilliant mastermind that guy.

Wow, so this dude was always in the right place at the right time, but just could not stop self-sabotaging. Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

This guy's videos are so rewatchable and I often found myself watching them more times than it should be. Or maybe because I just forget easily what's even the videos, and every rewatching, it feels like I'm seeing it again for the first time. I love this channel.

I like how Fredrick's closing moral for this episode is about the "volatility of a fanbase" when the clear moral here is actually "don't be a piece of shit".

I hope this video gets added to the National Video Game museum in Frisco TX, about how toxic gaming can poison the industry. This was such a really great video and can't believe I never watched it until now.

I used to watch Phil's content exclusively back in 2010-2013. Even though part of me feels bad for what his life has become, I feel his story is a cautionary tale about the dangers of greed and ego. I honestly believe the best thing for him would be to quit RU-vid for a while. Sell the house, move back to CT, apologize to all his friends for his selfish antics over the past 5 years. Get a full time job and start interacting with real people again.

DSP wakes up every morning he gets out of bed and goes to make some cereal, he gets a bowl and pours some milk, the milk is curdled and he shouts to Panda "How was I suppose to know Milk goes in the fridge?" then he slowly starves as he puts bread in the toaster but the toaster wont work shouting to Panda "How was I suppose to know to plug the toaster in?" Panda plugs the toaster in but nothing changes, Phill hasn't paid the electricity bills. "I bought the house, why do I have to pay for dlc?"

The 5 year update could just be a 5 second update where Frederick says “nothing changed”.
