Billy, if I were you, I would get a couple of cameras on those doors. At best, you find out if you have intruders. At worst you have paranormal video that could get thousands of hits and get enough views to finance some of the work.
I'm a paranormal investigator and your suggestion is spot on. I use different devices so a few cameras to film during times no one is at the convent in areas know for activity is a great start. I'd also try debunking noises such as air pressure due to window(s) open.
You have a beautiful home how many floors do you is there a basement back in the days with the kitchen in the basement I know it's home but will we ever get to see it all
Agree with security cameras. If that place is empty for days at a time, I’d secure your high end coffee maker. I think the only spirits you have are the two legged, break and enter, light finger type.

My first thought is always that it's a person that's broken in somehow, or gotten in, I don't know. I'd be less anxious if I thought it was a ghost - but people scare me x

My Uncle bought a huge home, beautiful 3 story home, it had a secret stairway from kitchen to master bedroom closet, He owned it for a few yrs before he found it. I would put locks on all the doors and keep them shut with cameras watching, My Nephew bought a home in Richmond Va, and found a secret full bar/ lounge or pub behind a basement wall, this room was not in the building diagrams of the house.
You should put some cameras inside the "most active" places of the convent to see, if you would capture something interesting. Maybe some motion sensor cameras, just an idea. Maybe you have squatters or maybe you have ghosts...

We lived in an old carriage house in NY which was part of a estate declared an historical landmark. It had very old gravestones on the land. We had a closet door upstairs that was a magnetized close. It was always opening on its own while we were gone. When it was closed, our cat would sit staring at it for hours. Quite a few spooky things occurred in the 2 years we lived there. I’m sure it was/is haunted.

There is a funeral home near my house. One day there was only 1 viewing the director and assistant were preparing for. They both heard the door open and greeting chimes go off. After investigating and searching the entire funeral home, no one was to be found. Upon inspecting the camera system, they found the image of a ghost passing through the door way (opening and closing the door) as if he was leaving the funeral home. A tall man wearing Dark pants, dress shirt and red tie. Later on, when the family arrived, they mentioned it to the son of the deceased (who was laying in the parlor) and showed him the video. The son was aghast and said the image looked just like his father, the spouse of the deceased! His dad had passed away some 10 years prior!
100% I would and have been in many haunted places, I’ve also been more afraid walking home alone. I don’t fear spirits but living people….. Whole different thing.
This spectre has a shadow, I've gone over the footage many, many times and it doesn't stay in the upper floors either. It also, to me, looks like a man in robes not a nun, I could be wrong but I don't think I am. A Councilman or a Priest possibly as the century isn't clear looking at the sleeves, but the headwear is not in keeping with a nun. I even slowed the video down to a crawl - it was not edited in and I don't think Billy saw it until he did playback for editing the video.. that would have been so freaky to see that - it was in the room beside the hall across from the kitchen, blocked the light from the window and cast a shadow. Nope - I would not be in there alone. I would be sending that footage to The Holy Sea and telling them to come do what they do to take of it lol
I just love the convent is so beautiful. Everyone's restoring chateaus. You're the only one restoring a convent. That's why I started watching because it's so unusual
Yay for the convent!! The chateau is jaw-droppingly gorgeous, but my heart belongs to the convent, and all our spooky ghostie nun friends!! That kitchen is just beyond dreams. What an incredible job you and your team have done!! I would love to visit it in person one day (and say "hi" to the ghosts)!

The kitchen is gleaming, what a dramatic change Billy! Kudos to your whole team! The only visitors you might have are of the earthly two-legged sort out to pinch your beautiful CoffeePot. PIR cameras with restricted regions for entry and exit with alarms connected to your phone. Alternatively, find a tuff who can be trusted to camp his trailer in the enclosed yard, keeping an eye upon things. PS, enjoying the Spaghetti Western music!

Maybe you can let go of your Discomfort and think : What ever Energies these are, you are Welcome, and, how can I help you (they) to feel at Peace ? Work at the chateau is interesting but watching you transform the convent is simply amazing. My Dad would say “It’s all in your head!”😂😮 He worked as an orderly in a hospital for many years moving patients that had passed. He had nerves of steel. 😅😅

Having lived in a house that had a ‘guest’ from the great beyond, we just learned to live with him. We spoke to him as if we could see him- and it settled him down . He was still present but was much better behaved.
@@christinegott3699 he was a nice old guy, with bad taste in aftershave - but he felt more like a protector then anything else . But my best explanation experience was meeting an angel at one of Toronto’s most haunted restaurant’s. I have had some scary innocents that scared the tar out of me lol
