Thanks buddy. Yeah we meant to do more to promote it and bts around it. But video work got real busy at the time and we ended up just throwing it online. The original intention was to do 2 versions, one shot classically on sticks/dollies and Alexa. One with a lot of gimbal work at a higher iso and experiment with different modes of building tension. Working around a family at the location and the time to do two just proved to be too much of a time sink for us. But that would have led to some videos centred around different modes/styles of shooting and building tension. Fyi should be starting with a vid every 1-2 weeks from tonight. And were gearing up for 2 big shorts towards the end of the year. Thanks for your support of our work. Means a lot

Interesting. In my mind All three of your films fall within the same universe. This is the first, Evenfall comes second and Darkness a follow up to Evenfall, of sorts.

There's certainly nothing conflicting between the cool room and Shadow, as Amy's name is never specified as Hannah or not... however we didn't make it as the same character/world... we originally were going to make this twice, shot in 2 completely different styles and compare the impact on the tension of those different shooting styles... but it was going to be too time consuming. We're scripting the next Evenfall short atm... aiming to make something more scary with more heart too.

Nice shots! How were you able to get the grain to show up on youtube?

Appreciate it. Grain added in FilmConvert. Probably between 100-200%. Then exported as a very large Cineform file set to High or best quality straight from resolve. If you upload H.264 I find the grain really gets muddied up

Good goods. When may we see the feature film? For the outdoors moonlight, I thought you might have had a 12K. Was it shot up at Roleystone and Pickering Brook by any chance?

It was actually a big work light Shane hired from Kennards I think. 5000k I believe. This was shot in/near Donnybrook... Glad you enjoyed... no feature planned for this one, it was just a bit of fun.

@@AlucinorProductions . There was a bit of a story behind this 12K. It was bought online as a reputable brand 1.2K (Desisti), only it wasn't.
