What a stunner! Great work!! I have a few questions, if I may: What kind of wood did you use for your table? Where did the shimmer come from? Did you use black alcohol ink as well, or are the black portions only black from the burning technique? Thanks! Keep going!!

I love that, but I think we need a little more information on how you did this

@RachelCase33 did you tape off the edges or babysit the epoxy drips? Or sand it? Personally, I can never get the edges that smooth.

I used alcohol ink that you would use to color resin from Amazon . It comes in small bottles, but you can dilute it with paint thinner or rubbing alcohol to stretch the contents in the bottle

Also, thank you so much for your sweet compliment. It means the world. I never knew how my art appeared to others, and sometimes I feel like giving up on trying to create content that doesn't already exist . Your kind words help me feel like someone out there actually appreciates something I do .

So what stain or colors are you using?

Awesome! Would you say alcohol ink bleeds less than a RIT clothing dye? It looks like the colors aren't bleeding into each other so much like a clothing dye does on wood. Is there a certain technique you use or some kind of spray to get it not to run so much? Again this is great work!

I've never tried RIT on wood. I usually use an alcohol ink that you would use to color epoxy from Amazon that comes in small bottles , stretching it out with paint thinner or rubbing alcohol . I'm super careful to apply colors that would mix together next to each other. That way, if it does bleed, it doesn't make a weird or funky color. For instance, red next to yellow makes an orange or blue next to purple, green next to blue, and so on. Also, apply carefully like a few millimeters from each line so it has room to spread out. Hope this helps! :)
