What an amazing journey I have been on... This started ebike journey started as a means of exploring my backyard and led into a means to help show our ebike enthusiasts that not only can you travel but you can travel in style... On todays episode I get the opportunity to install and represent yet another great product by the TEAM at Raid Dynamics... This accessory is the latest upgrade in the Raid Dynamics' SUPER73 lineup... It is a complete halo that flawlessly covers the entire circumference of the stock SUPER73 rim... It fits perfectly and looks amazing... All SUPER73 owners are gonna want get their hands on these... Installation took about 60 minutes and you have to completely remove the wheels... Its definitely doable by any enthusiast or you can take it to the professions...

You should wear rubber gloves when you handle rotors and dont forget to clean it with some alcohol after your done, have fun..

Looks cool but I live on the shoreline and I think the wind will be a problem. We will have to see how it goes your next windy ride.

We used to call these hubcaps back in the day. They make your car go faster. I had these in the 80s, because apparently I was living in the future. Who knew. I think they were Odyssey the company that dethroned the ACS rotor with the Gyro. I saw you tease this the other day when you were talking to the designer or whatever. When he said he was making solid versions that require wheel removal I was thinking to myself...this guy actually thinks there are Super73 owners that can change their own tire then? Then I was like nah, they order the very expensive hubcaps and have the shop install them. I appreciate the fact that Jonny is trying to learn to do some of his own work on these bikes. I would say if you have an ebike channel you might want to have all the tools required to take your own bicycle apart umkaaay? I'm not a hater. I'm just bustin balls here. I'm sure there are 73 owners that have mechanical ability... somewhere. If you think hubcaps are the coolest mod someone needs to show this man some Spokey Dokeys please. Let's really blow his mind. Or we could just grab a pack of playing cards and spoke up and make some vroom vroom noises. Heh heh

Beefier look for sure makes the bike look way cleaner and robust. I noticed the valve stem access holes looked a bit small have you tested an inflator to see if it can reach easily. Of course it could be the camera view. Excellent choice imho!

I just thought of something while i was watching you install the Halo's ...... Did you check the spokes for any loose ones ? Just wondering ... I would hate to see something happen that could have been prevented .... Back to the video tape !!!

Love wheel disks got some on mine, although they don't make them for my bike so was a struggle to get them to fit on mag wheels, but still they look dope, love these customisation episodes Mr E, keep them coming, been hearing about the new ebike laws in the US, politics !!! 😥......🙏

Those hub cap things are fiyaaaa. I have a 24 x 4 inch ebike. Could I get those for my wheels? Or do they come in bigger sizes? Thanks.

Better than plastic… American-made monolithic marine-grade HDPE that is impact-resistant and user-refinishable… Feels like quality material in the hand… 🙌💯💪

I like this mod but I got the one with the holes in it so I can lock my bike with the folding lock, a cover like the one you have would make it very hard to lock it even though it looks nice :(

Great Point… 🙌💪💯 This is a better option for someone that DOES NOT need to lock their bike up through the wheel… Me personally I don’t ride anywhere that I need to lock it up… works for 💯

What is the purpose of these and are they only compatible with super 73 or can they work with any 20” tires?

Did you ever modify anything you owned to make it look different…? These are accessories to change the look of your super73…. Will it fit a different 20x4 maybe but I’ve only tried it on my RX The company Raid Dynamics strictly made them for SUPER73 models… they were designed around the actual rim… I like them… Raid Dynamics also made them for the ONYX RCR AND CTY2… I have them on my ONYX RCR as well

@@mr.e_from_nyc I modified my ebike but it was for practical reasons like I would buy a bike light because I didn’t want to draw extra power from my battery for the headlights or I bought arc light pedals so I could be seen at night. Everything has a purpose on my bike. I thought at first your halos were there to cut down wind resistance and I was interested but okay I guess. Don’t get me wrong they do look cool but I never thought to add extra weight just to look cool

@@mr.e_from_nyc They're made of aluminum alloy my guy. You use that on a bike carrying a heavy a$$ battery stressing that point of the frame is just asking for exactly what is happening!
