1:16 - I'm building something very similar from scratch. Designed it in Sketchup, but the sofa will be built over an electric Lazyboy chair frame (to raise ottoman and not try to recline), and the arms have some small, hidden compartments for firearms or my tweeds or... whatever. Unfortunately, even wood is so expensive now, I'm building it in steps. The one thing that I cannot figure out is what mechanism is lowering the shelf congruent to the lowering of the bed. It's too synchronized to be gravity. I guess I'm not too versed in mechanics.
I know right it shouldn’t be that expensive because the hardware is a few hundred dollars to but and a bed it a few hundred dollars to build and building yourself out of plywood instead ,do ans stuff will so much stronger so why is a simple Murphy bed that I could make in less than 1000 cost 4000 to buy
Seems strange that no one has sheets and blankets on their bed. I guess to have one of these fancy beds, you have the maid take the sheets off every morning and put them on at night.
@@cyphi1 basic folding bed that i wanted was I think close to 3 000$ plus delivery and installation (they didn't want you to do it). but it was many years ago and do not quite remember details
These products should be targeted as for the less fortunate.. People that live in small spaces and can't afford a home with multiple rooms.. But instead only privileged folk can afford this furniture
