Absolutely made up today, Christmas Day, my son and his family gave me the classic board for Christmas, what a surprise it was too. Can’t wait to get up,and running.
Might have been helpful to know that the large one is £320, the medium one £250 and the tiny one still £150. For that £150 you get a monochrome display, which is why you have to decide on what colour filter they fit to it. I guess you can get a piece of purple filter and stick in on your own to get an 'Elizabeth Line' version. Anyway, more than this, you need a data feed, and this comes in two versions, a free version and the version that Russel is talking about, the premium version. Apart from the announcements, it would be good to know what you get for your £5/month.
Great idea for a Christmas present from Elwena!! Our son is working on my Dad’s Army layout at their home in Bristol!! I’m going to try to get there for Christmas!!
I’ve been tempted by one of these if I can find the room to hang it in my Clubhouse which is located on top of the embankment within sight of Watford Junction! Would be nice if it showed freight/non-passenger movements as well but still pretty cool.
I purchased the desk version last week. It arrived within a few days. Great little product. Having upgraded to Premium you do still then have to purchase the voice package as an extra.
No, you dont have to have a paid subscription, the free version gives you the basics. The add ons such as the voice packs ect ect are at an extra cost but that is up to the owner if they want them 🙂
