Best deck tech on Zacama I've seen. Going over the combos and interactions and visually displaying them the way you did makes this video immensely helpful. Way better than just listing card names. 10/10 video
just saw this video. I’m brewing a new zacama list and I really like this one! I am going for a more stax-heavy list, but one of my favorite combos is with greater good and underworld breach! It is a great combo and just awesome value. I like using academy rector to find the pieces too. It helps that Zacama can kill rector.
You have a couple of non-bo's in here. For example, Mycosynth turns off Natural Order. It also turns off Green Sun Zenith, which should be in the deck. And you have to be careful w Food Chain... that mana can only be used to cast creature spells. Emiel should definitely also be in this deck. Aurelia's Fury is also a great "oops, everyone's dead" card, as well as a silencer for the counterspell player. Other noteworthy cards I didn't see mentioned are Majestic Genesis, Genesis Wave, Heroic Intervention, Teferi's Protection, Chord of Calling, bounce lands, Sneak Attack, Solitude, and Old Gnawbone. It might also be worth running a counterspell prevention suite like the aforementioned Aurelia's Fury, plus Allosaurus Shepherd, Destiny Spinner, Grand Abolisher, Dragonlord Dromoka, and Conqueror's Flail. Aurelia herself is fun, and can set up infinite attacks with cards like Emiel and Helm of the Hosts.
What about Eldritch Evolution? It's ultimately an underpowered Natural Order, but saccing Zacama to grab a mana doubler and recasting Zacama would feel pretty good for less mana than Natural Order.
Casting Zacama from the command zone is still considered casting it. So yes, you would still be able to untap all of your lands. I hope that answers your question 😁
Nice deck but your wincons are a bit easy to disrupt. In My deck i use sanctum of eternity and shivan gorge to get infinite mana and damage just by using lands and zacama. I also have triumph of the hordes+chandras ignition that get's opponents to 10 infect just with zacama and 9 mana from lands
