One of the best British comedy shows ever, it took the piss out of all of us.

I really miss these fun characters. So many catchphrases have stuck with me down the years from this hilarious show.

The fact that this was such a hit on British TV goes to show how much we can laugh at ourselves and how welcoming we are and were to self-deprecating humour, which demonstrates the fact this is a caricature of rural British people, not a true reflection.

@MsLoveallbneed I work in London with teams mainly sourced from Indian companies. They are great people with intelligence, a willingness to learn and manners. Totally respected and deeply valued. I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard time but it's not all UK, but yes some places are more difficult to live in. Often it's ignorance e.g people assume Indian's are Pakistani or Bangladeshi is amazing. Keep strong and patiently teach people about your wonderful culture and our shared history.
