I notice a lot of you running the old gas engine like to cut the tailpipe off really close before the upsweep but there's a reason John Deere put that pipe so high. Is to keep the heat out of the radiator from the exhaust. Because when it's cut right there by the fan it will suck the hot exhaust all back in.
