Some of those comparing these to the RHD / NA / auto models have no clue on collector value of these cars. I would like to see another USDM '98 black on black original VIN / paint TT 6speed with sub-20k miles at less than $70k. In fact, send it to me so I can buy it. Out of 94 black 6 speed cars produced in 1998 (last MY for Supra's in US), even fewer had black interior (most were tan), even fewer have such low miles, even fewer have original VINs, even fewer have original paint... - all things collectors look for. There's only one thing that would keep this car from bringing top dollar and its the fact that its modified, but realistically, this is still a $70k+ car as it sits.

It's beautiful. I remember driving one of these in Gran Turismo 1 (The original driving simulator) on playstation. Way too much horsepower for a RWD once I souped it up. But still fun.

Really liked the 98 Toyota Supra, but ones that aren't trashed are hard to find. I agree very low mileage older cars that have not been driven can be disastrous with problems if you suddenly start driving them regularly.

But your Supra would beat Davids 240 in a race because he isn't going for power just for a fun 300-500 hp street car. This reminds me of my 1999 Hayabusa. I bought it used (of course) in 2002. Rode it stock for a couple yrs. Only put about 2000 miles on it total 4400 miles on engine. Then i wanted to chrome it our and turbo charge it. Totally stripped down the bike. Hade engine, trans, and heads worked over. $3000. New fairings $600, plus paint theme job $1,500. 330 osd kit $7500. Stage 2 turbo kit $3500. Fwd to 2018. I did not do this all at once. The bike sat in my guarge for yrs between parts upgrade. (Only able build on bike between girlfriends). For what i invested in it in time and money. People ask me if i want to sell it at a price far less than what i invested in it. I need a t-shirt that reads "HELL NO!" That bike will rust to nothing before i sell it. I sold an old 70 Tornado GT and my sweet 72' Buick 2 door skylark i owned to a guy back when i was in my early 20's dirt cheap because i was stupid and didnt understand their value then. I wont do it again.

All cars need to see the road! I know it takes away value but cars are built to be driven no matter how rare or how clean.

With 5-6k in updates (newer fuel system, some factory interior components, stock bumper and hood) that car will actually be worth 100k to someone in sandy land. Nice car!
