Have a cough/mucus production in lungs for 4 years now, stuffy nose, coughing up mucus every minute of the day for all those years, never smoked, no alcohol
I've been coughing for about 5 days now. I've been taking medicine, but it doesn't help. I woke up in the middle of the night 3 times in a row just to cough for 30 minutes. I do go to sleep again, but it's hard when you're coughing every 2 seconds. I'm considering going to see a doctor.
I got sick outta no where last week and all the other symptoms like my sore throat and headache are gone but now I’m left with this cough that won’t go away. I’ve been coughing so much that my core hurts. It’s also made sleeping uncomfortable, I hate it. Edit: So I went to the doctor last week and she prescribed me some Benzonatate capsules and codeine. I took them and eventually the coughing became less which I was very happy about but now it’s starting up again.. it’s been two weeks now and idk if and when it’ll go away. I’m tired of this.

One of my most hated sicknesses is Cough because it takes SUPER LONG to go away that you just wanna punch your throat. Like if I had the powers to be Immune to 1 Sickness or Illness it's gonna be Cough 100% and nothing else, right now I have a cough for more than a month now and it's SUPER PAINFUL TO SLEEP!!!!!!! And you cant do Activities without Coughing it's Super Painful that I really wanna punch my Throat hoping it would get better.
🥶🖖💧. I was miserable with a cough in Spanish class. Jaime, my classmate brought me a cup of water from hallway drinking fountain. I was alien to the thought of drinking water for cough. I thanked and tried that method. It killed my misery and my cough the rest of my long hour. I don't recall coughing anymore that day as a matter of fact. Now water is my favorite juice. Some evil lady was singing to her god in the temple. Earlier she triggered me. I saw and heard her coughing. I brought her a cup of water in the temple to drink as if she were me in the struggle. She said thank you to me.
Worst was when I had COVID, I was stuck lying prone in my hospital bed for days because anytime I moved, sat up, or breathed, I would go into a massive coughing fit that nearly made me pass out.

I figured it was just inflammation still from throat healing. Figured I had the flu. Trying to drink a ton of warm water and tea. Gerd also effects me so I can’t eat after 7.
What about a dry cough that's unrelated to any [known] illness? (ie., not known to be sick or infected with anything. I just started coughing, and it's been about 10 days. Mucus in the lungs is starting to build, but only over the last 2 days.
I know it may be annoying but this is the way how your body is getting rid of all that gunk in your system. Hang in there! I’m coughing at times where I want to vomit lol😊
Me too. Ive had the worst cold and chest infection ive ever had before, coughing up green phlegm for 10 days. Literally end up wretching and breathless bc I have so much green phlegm stuck in my chest and throat. Sometimes just flies out. And have coughing fits. But 2nite, all evening and all night I haven't stopped snd its past 4 am and I still haven't slept bc I can't stop coughing .I miss being well . Never take health for granted
I have had a persistent cough for five months now. I have had blood tests, X-ray, CT scan, antibiotics. I have never smoked, don't do drugs or drink. Not Gerd either.
My cough has been going on for nearly 4 years. I am already on Omeprazole as well as prescription Flonase for post nasal drip..and I STILL cough puke crazy. My GP put me on a prescription inhaler for symbacort about a month ago, and that helps but I still am coughing!! He suggests a PFT(Pulmonary Function Test) that is scheduled for February 21, 2024 . Hopefully this will explain the reason why I stoll cough, and provide more relief
i've been coughing since 1+ month and am even taking 3 meds a day (i got it prescribed this way, not doing it on my own accord) and the doctor just said it's gonna go away. it hasn't. i am so annoyed
What state is that doctor from? I had this cough and I also vomit since February of this year. It’s getting a little better but I’m still cough some and the vomit really slowed down. This doctors in the state of Indiana isn’t good. Before they examine you, they always want to give you some pills. I’m moving from this state very soon. The doctors out here isn’t very bright
Every winter, I get a cough that lasts the entire season (November-January/February). I cough frequently in the morning and at night. Medication had no effect. However, sipping warm water gave me temporary respite. It go away as the weather warms up (summer). It seem like allergy to cold Or acid reflux ,sometimes have heartburn😅
Don’t bother. Here in England they won’t do anything! In the past they gave me an inhaler but not this time. I’ve been left with a cough and breathing difficulties that kept me awake all night
If you don't mind me asking how long have you had you cough for my Mrs as had her cough for about 10months now with the cough she vomiting had an x ray last July came back clear but since than she's been coughing dr given her inhaler & all sorts still the same?
@@fehzaanmahmood723 About five months. I had a chest X-ray two days ago, just waiting for the results. Mine is getting worse not better-very frustrating. My doctor said it could be Asthma. Hope your wife is ok, 10 months is a long time. People keep saying it could be long Covid but I don’t know

Dr told me a fever with cough it's cold without a fever it's allergies. I have allergies year round, watched news they gave what's affecting allergies. Fits me
I'm 57 years old ,have 6 children and have never seen more toddlers with severe upper respiratory problems on so many toddlers. This is the crap they're dropping from the airplanes. Not just children but adults are getting respiratory issues in epidemic proportions.
People that have been smoking for many many years and have a constant cough. Actually need to go every six months for an MRI for their lungs. Don’t push your luck quit while you’re ahead. It doesn’t always happen to the other guy. I wouldn’t think it would be too great to run around with an oxygen tank or a oxygen bag around your back. then there is small cell carcinoma, lung cancer, etc. etc. Once you damage your lungs, they’re Shot forever

One month today I have had yellow phlegm, thicker in the morning... was on doxycycline no change , just did sputum culture nothing grew .. been on 11 antibiotics since April for multiple different things ... worry it's something bad , doc just says ongoing broncitis just worries me 😭
Hi Mel. Mines been going on since the beginning of this month. Had a sore throat one day real bad and within 24 hrs had nasty congestion and a productive cough formed. Got a zpak of azithromycin on the 6th till the 10th. Got better from from the congestion throat issue but the cough hasn't subsided. Wonder if I need something else like the doxcycline. You're better now, I think you said? 😊
The reason why I watch this because I keep coughing and I’m like really itchy but it actually doesn’t feel like it’s enough to go to the Doctor so I think I’m fine🤧 also I’m really stuffy so thank you for the reason
I’ve been coughing for 5 to 4 months and am only 9 so I think it’s really bad for me but I keep telling my parents for me to go to the doctors but it may just be my allergies
After corona I started to have situated cough like it’s there u feel uncomfortable when eat ice cream or any soft drink it feels like stuffed, repressed cough .. doesn’t feel good when eat cold things so eventually u end up stop eating these stuff and now subconsciously I don’t like these because of my this unsaying unexplainable situation idk what to do since I tried everything if u r suffering like plz like this so that I might feel that m not alone.. also i end up hating to sleep in air condition (AC) too because after Ac night next day I feel fever uncomfortness in throat and in breathing too like slight irritating. Also I also don’t feel like my throat my esophagus and breathing pipe idk the medical terminology but i don’t feel it fully accessible while breathing and most importantly while swallowing any food that major thing … stay healthy feel blessed to be healthy

@@RostClan220 this is what I'm doing and it helps a lot! A cheap humidifier helps if you don't want to fork out. Also, opening windows more often and if you use convection heaters try to turn them on less

I had horrible stuff stuff but now I have cough and chest tightness cause coughing so much and they keep saying it's allergies asthma but I know what my allergies feel like all I have is cough and wheezing and mucus and it's hard to sleep

You need to go to a Dr and ask for a chest and lung xray. A cough and asthma wheezing could be due to several issues like COPD some times lung cancer too.
