No he got the anti air wraithe with a classic glitch that halo players have been using since, idk like 2007 or 2008. It's a very old well known glitch.
John Warner How do you figure? World record refers to time. If he dies, but is still ahead of other runners times and completes it, it’s still a world record. Your flawed logic is confusing me
Well, he died trying to do the hammer jump accross the corridor of the citadel. So I'm gonna say this isn't segmented. If it was, he would've cut that death out of the final edit.
"Speed is the essence of war. Take advantage of the enemy's unpreparedness; travel by unexpected routes and strike him where he has taken no precautions."
Can we give credit to Bungie for giving the AA wraith its own reticle dispite making it "undrivable"? Makes me wonder if they originally planned on making it drivable but later scrapped the idea near the game's completion.
Yes it was originally meant to be in multiplayer. I’m pretty sure it sucked tho so they scrapped it. You can see it in some of the leaked alpha gameplay videos I believe!
@@dannyrivera8300 if I remember correctly you have to shoot the driver in the head while also hitting the use button to enter the vehicle the exact moment the driver died, otherwise the wraith just blows up
343 Guilty Spark:"If we had more time!!" Chief:"so you wanna watch me finish this in 5 minutes, little, laser-shooting, talking ball?" 343:"what?" Chief:"what?"
I started playing MCC a lot in hopes of getting full completion, playing this level over and over really gives you optimal times and routes, so now I even see where he could’ve shaved seconds off, and other places that I completely forgot about. Really interesting to watch this from this perspective
So really funny thing here, and I hope rocats sees this comment, I know the reason you wait a moment before destroying the first scarab. I found out the hard way many time that if you destroy them too fast it explodes instantly and throws you into a glitch yet into oblivion and it's hilarious
I can imagine that this is what Noble 6 would have behaved like. A Lone Wolf just getting things done his own way, not waiting for the marines or reinforcements, not bothering to clear all the enemies because there's a more important goal at hand
Gotta pop the top, drain the driver's shield, crouch and find a place where you can aim at his head without seeing the "board wraith" prompt, hold your board button and pull the trigger
