As an RDC attendee and fairly prominent developer, I want to say that a large portion of us are largely against this behaviour and I want to express this hurts us as well. It's frustrating to be associated with garbage like this, this sucks. I really appreciate this content regardless of my personal feelings, it's important to out stuff like this.

Great summary. I agree. This is absolutely disgusting and a big no-go. I do not have anything against people with weird fetishes like having a crush on a Pokemon? But when the situation goes out of control like when they take a step further to express their fetishes towards literal MINORS, then nah, that's a step too far. I feel disgusted knowing to have been supporting WhoToTrus by actually having bought some of his UGC accessories. He does not deserve anything after this but his own guilt, and he should really be embarassed by himself, and believe me, I personally truly would be. I'm glad Evanbear1 actually came clear on this situation, I doubted him at the start, but he proved us all wrong. Hopefully this situation does not vanish in the dark after a week or so but actually gets enlightened, from the community to Roblox, and Roblox seriously needs to step up their game and finally punish this horrible person off of their platform, and completely revoke UGC access. The fact that you might possibly be endangered for simply spreading awareness is actual shocking to me... Hopefully WhoToTrus and EVERYONE else involved get their desired punishment.

I used to be friends with WhoToTrus in the earlier days of Roblox before UGC or the Dev community was really a thing. I had to cut ties with him a long time ago because even back then when he was younger he seemed very disturbed, I don't want to say toxic because we were young so I'll cut him a bit of slack... For lack of a better word I could tell he seemed very manipulative even at a very young age. I haven't spoken to him in almost 10 years, but it's crazy how I'm seeing this video recommended to me, it's a really spooky coincidence personally for me.

Im just so done with UGC creators, developers and youtubers at this point... There is almost no hope left to even trust anyone at this point. Like seriously, the moment you like a top developer or youtuber, they get exposed for pedophilia or other scummy acts but this? This is beyond any pedophile allegations, they got caught saying sexual things with minors and are now threatening anyone trying to dig further into this. and the scariest part is that roblox will probably do nothing about this since they're just so popular in the community and as you said: they know some roblox staff.

as a person who has at least seen Trus' and John's accessories in the shop often, this would've been shocking. but I've seen too many people here go bad or be exposed for already being bad to be surprised, unfortunately. I knew something was up. Looking in my inventory after watching this, I'm very pleased I did not buy their accessories, or I'd be fueling the alleged sick crap they're doing here. I’ve started watching this guy in 2020 in the pandemic, seeing all the stuff he’s done during that timespan makes me grateful I found him, but also saddens me to see how screwed up the platform has gotten.

Roblox, twitter, discord, all of them and others had some sort of disgusting controversy in the past. but that doesn't mean you should quit that platform as long you're careful of those things especially as a minor. With that said, stay safe y'all.

I know John personally and from what has been said to me by mutual friends and my boss (who I do collabs with), he felt very betrayed by Trus's actions as someone who considered him a close friend.

I actually knew him and talked to him on a semi-frequently basis a while back on Discord. Back when UGC was a still the new thing. I never thought he'd would stoop this low.

I know i am late but the fact that this WhoToTrus guy is still around and isn't banned pretty much shows that Roblox only cares about money over safety. I also i feel sad and i guilty that i bought some of their item (trus and John) back in 2020.

There's something deep going on here that needs psychological experts.... These predators aren't even that old. They're 20 years old at times, even younger. This isnt some 40-50 year old creep pretending to be a kid or stalking, these are teens recently turned adults acting in this behavior. Why does the ROBLOX environment cultivate this type of behavior? Why are there so many houng adult predators who were also teens or kids barely a few years ago? Something bigger is going on and it makes me sick. Kids are being groomed to be perverted deviants and continuing the cycle. I wonder if it has to do with the increased social media usage, the blurred age range on ROBLOX, and pop culture content that should be censored or filtered, but gets passed into the website anyways.

Roblox is filled with EDP445s these days. As a teenager myself I only friend people in roblox whom I know in real life and I advise other minors to do so as well so that creeps can't contact you. Also if your roblox friend asks you to talk on another platform, don't do it. They may be trying to evade roblox tags and send you inappropriate things.
