When NIP said if anything happens to me “y’all better ride for me” it was a reason he made that statement Cowboy understood the assignment salute you for standing up. Nipsey is so missed by the ones that appreciated him
I respect this man's honesty. Cowboy is a real one...with or without the crack. My uncle was a smoker and he gave me some of the best advice and conversation I ever had. Rest up Nip💯
My girl get mad cause I'll talk to anyone, even if they homeless or junkies lol I tell her all the time you can't judge a book by its cover. I've gotten some of my best advice from current or former smokers. My zinger is I tell her this one smoker I used to work with told me don't ever get married 🤣🤣 She don't like that story.

Great Interview, met Big Thundercat back in May of 2019 at the marathon store. He was showing everyone love , him & a few other older OGs & younger 60s from over there was making sure everyone coming thru was good , safe & secure. Nothing but good energy. LLNH 💙🏁
Facts and it's funny people tried to say it was him who had nip hit and I never thought because nip was providing his income and after nip dude didn't blow up or get rich the sad fact that these weirdos in the industry like wack and big u I guarantee had a part in it because why extort a man who is dead I think they were doing that to him while he was alive and he got tired of it and as the bad nothing on nip they had him killed now wack and u saying they have this video of nip that was gonna be used to extort him while he gone and can't defend himself is sick I mean if you gonna say you have something you better show these things you are saying so the fact is fact and not just something you say because we can all say such and such about someone who isn't here to defend their name and honor
And cool thing is I went there and I'm a white boy and I bought some shirts supported the movement they got going and was shown nothing but love I had that sticky icky from my home in Humboldt kicked them down fat broke everyone there down passed out a few lbs
@@ThaRealTruth facts that’s why I never believed that conspiracy about Cowboy being involved. When I went I got to chop it up with Cowboy/Kev Mac he was telling us stories bout nip, he took a picture with me aswell & showed love. Then when I went to the back where the mural of nip was on the fat burger, the younger 60wes was all back there chillin deep, but they was cool as hell , I had a polaroid camera with me , I took photos of them with the Polaroid which they enjoyed & one of them told me they just loved the fact people was coming out to show nip love & they appreciated it.
This man doesn't sugarcoat Nothin! 100% raw and uncut This interview is so inspiring that I feel privileged to be able to hear this story. Cowboy is a legend.🙌💯❤️🔥
This is a powerful message this brother is sharing I hope anyone who watching this who is a active gang member or knows someone who is listens to this please do not let this go over y’all heads
Everyone’s talking about how powerful this guys message is - which I agree. But can we take a moment to appreciate Adam and how good he’s gotten at interviewing people who other journalists would never in a million years be able to
Dope interview. I would like to see him on VladTV tho. Those last words when he said Nip had a smerk on his face in the casket and was probably saying “I did that” almost bought a tear out!
No jumper interviews are only getting better. Cowboy is a real dude with a lot of respect for himself and other people. Nip was great. He left us too soon. Imagine what more he could of done he’s legendary. If you haven’t listened to his music. Please listen ask Jay Z he’ll tell you 💯
I think cow boy is cool I pray that this nipsey makes him a different person I know it's hard when you lose a good friend that's real I see him by him by himself an to me nip was a way of life an life will never be the same on the west
I hope when I die, one of my boys reps me the way Cowboy reps Nip. The way he kept mentioning "that's my friend"...This dude is hurt, maybe he wasn't the most important person in the camp, most likely due to some drugs/immaturity issues, but he was pivotal to the movement. I admire homie for not thinking he's some big shit. Thennnn he said I lost a father and a son. This shit is sad.
I ain’t gon lie when Nip situation first happen I seen sum of the stuff about cowboy and was skeptical of him but this guy had a calling just as strong as nip he def need be protected by the 60s he the OG every hood need
The fact that he admitted that Nip/Blacc Sam were his boss and his realness about his addiction is everything. Thank you Adam for this interview …made me respect him and you a lot more. This interview is powerful.
@@annwallace6000 I think what he meant him being Nip big homie he could of used that to belittle him but he straight up played his role which a lot of OGs don’t do
@@annwallace6000 I feel you with that coming from a gang perspective you supposed to hold that title and respect but I felt like he was being humble and didn’t pull ranked if you get me. I see your point also though
Well a lot of people was spreading false shit after nip died saying he was saying he was nip business partner but he just confirmed he never said that.
U can tell Cowboy had genuine love for Nipsey in vice versa he always supported Nip from day 1 I cried for a week straight when Nipsey died that shit still don’t set well with me 3 years later we lost a leader of our generation
@@bradleydahlgren6632 have you not sat and listened to his message in his music?? Have you not watched his interviews? Have you not seen what his business moves produced?? Fuckin right he was a leader of this generation
The fact that this dude speaks so fascinated with just being able to run the small errands for Nip and his business, speaks VOLUMES. Everyone has a role & a lot of ppl would take too much pride doing stuff like painting the walls, cleaning up around the store, getting merch together, etc. but Nip always looked out for his folks, Vice versa. Dude got the old school mentality 💯💯💪🏽

This need a billion views. So much honesty, love, compassion, realness, respect, and integrity. Shout out to cowboy for sharing his story. Much love and respect all the way from Chicago. Nip is proud of the squad and especially you. The marathon continues.
I watched this entire interview. Very honest and entertaining conversation from Cowboy. You could tell he had a lot of love for Nip and his family. Old school G, Cowboy is.
Exactly why could never understand why ppl think differently about him dude was down for Nipsey since day 1. It’s like nobody listen to Crenshaw and slauson vid

Nigga all i seen was Cap 1 and made me think of some classic songs on this old album "Through The Eyes Of A Don"...Shawna had a verse on track 13 with Twista and i think it may have been the hardest female verse in hip-hop ever...💯 ....Go check that out!
It’s refreshing to hear Cowboy tell his side of the story. It was so many negative ones out there before he even had a chance to get his side out. Glad I tuned in. This interview was laced with WISDOM! Much respect to Cowboy! 💪🏾
Dope interview. I respect Cowboy and his honesty and how he spoke about a peace treaty and how the streets need a better structure in place like back in the day. I miss Nipsey. He was a true inspiration to me. I'm so happy I not only got to meet him but had the pleasure of getting my own artwork to him. One of the greatest moments in my life. If you ever had the chance meet an idol you know what I felt. Salute Adam. Long live Nip 🏁🏁🏁
I know what you mean R.I.P. Nip his daughter and my son was in the same class together and Nip invited me to the VL listening party 1 of the realest i met

Seem like a cool dude. Crazy what we go through and put ourselves through to finally gain the Wisdom that GOD wanted us to have to be who and where we're supposed to be.
S/O to Adam for this! Cowboy is very humble to tell his story knowing how judgemental this world is. God bless him on his sobriety, that's a tough habit to kick!

Sad thing is bro…there’s at least 2 of these dudes in every hood, the problem is these young niggas jus don’t wanna listen to wisdom, especially when it’s coming from an OG who ain’t gettin the money these young niggas gettin. Shyt is sad bro 🤦🏾♂️
Great interview. This is Adam’s 🚀 … great questions, great guest and you allowed Cowboy to just go and be him. This should and hopefully will be the biggest interview to date
Bro when Cowboy started talking about the night Nip died I instantly started shedding tears. That shit should’ve never happened at all, Nip was making such a difference and giving a voice to the voiceless with the resources given to him. wtf man…..

Im from Minneapolis and Nip has a huge fan base here. He used do shows here all the time and always sold out. We got Mad love for him, we even have a mural of him in the Southside
Beautiful interview with Cowboy! Been waiting on his story to be archived. Cowboy you should start a non-profit, apply for grants, and use the funds to better your community for the future. I love the line Cowboy is pushing! Keep being blessed! RIP NIP!!!
I respect this brother for his input during this interview. I'm glad he gave an indepth look at who he is as a man, in relation to NIP, and about what transpired the day the world lost a legend. Cowboy was NOT a fake narcissist and didn't steal all the credit and I love what he said about Wack No Hunnid Mark #$$. He was humble and I take his word for it. Much respect to Big Thundercat aka Uncle Cowboy. Love, bro. 💪🏾💪🏾💯💯💯

This interview was so powerful, motivating and captivating. I've always checked for Cowboy but I have more respect for him. His transparency can teach some people a lesson of how to grow from his addiction, children being taken to saying he was a worker, respectfully. As much as it hurts that Nipsey is not physically here with us, I finally felt some peace of his passing. Thank you Cowboy for this interview. Hope to meet you when I'm passing through there one day, I mean that. Thank you Adam for this. This interview put a lot of rumors to rest. You also asked some great questions.👌🏾💙🏁🙌🏾
10 things to quit for all Strong Men: 1. Caring about what others think 2. Not believing in yourself 3. Not experimenting different ideas / solutions for problems (life&business) 4. Not prioritizing your health 5. Wasting your precious time 6. Wanting something (instead write a plan and work towards it) 7. Chasing meaningless relationships 8. Wasting or draining your energy from beating your meat 🥩 9. Wasting time by scrolling social media 10. Nailbiting/nailpicking habit for good (if you do it - consider stopping it as it makes you mentally weak + affects your confidence and all other areas of your life!) Take it easy and I hope you found one thing helpful in this list.
Cowboy, IMO, Has always been a real genuine stand up man. He’s been boots 🥾 on the ground over there 👉🏽 on Crenshaw & Slauson since Nip died till this day! He has all my respect. Salute brother. TMC! 😢
Awesome interview, I wish we could have more guidance and wish people could educate one and another with more knowledge and taking a chance on somebody who is special who can flourish that can potentially create superstars whilst you are chasing your dreams.
This was amazing. The biggest personal takeaway was the leadership and the hard work always coming before the talent. I feel in today's society the biggest reward lies in the maverick, the front runner, the end product. And little to no light is shed on all the other moving pieces. We all have different skill sets and finding where you fit in the best amd working your ass off to change your life with said skill ouuuu that is the spice of life right there! Excellent interview.
You could only hope that when you pass people speak about you with the level of reverence that Cowboy speaks about Nip. You could tell Nip meant a lot to him and vice versa. A great example of the type of relationships we should continue to foster with one another to keep advancing forward-old to young, teacher to student.
The was a great interview, i teared up several times. His story is heartfelt and I pray the message is heard by those that need and want to hear it! The humility in say Nip was his son and his father was profound.I can’t wait for the book.
