I’m 53 and I just started hear the name Nipsey Hussle within the last few months, but I didn’t know anything about him. I thought it was cool that he got his name from comedian Nipsey Russell. Then I heard part of an interview he gave on The Breakfast Club. I liked his style and said I wanted to listen to the whole interview later. Later never came. Then I heard of his senseless murder. After hearing how everyone felt about him and as I learned about him, his LIFE and THOUGHTS have meant a lot to me. This interview was well done. Teachable gems throughout. I hope his death will not be in vain. I hope these young brothers out here will listen and use his blueprint to guide their lives in a better direction. He was a real leader and role model. An INSPIRATION to those he touched. RIP young man

I’m honestly taking his death very hard ya’ll it’s crazy. I felt he was very smart and influential.. he could’ve touched a billion Dollars easy.. thought he was a great man one I would want to marry. So honestly I loved him as a artist and a man and I knew for sure I would see him this year . This is so heartbreaking. Somebody watched his rise in envy probably somebody that shook his hand & spoke with him frequently. We probably will never know the truth but the shooter was a pond he was sent to do someone else dirty work so we must do Nipsey’s work stay positive, take care of each other, take your money and make it bigger and stay focused. Pray daily and pray for Nipsey that he finds rest and transition .. the way he passed its a battle to accept what has happened to him.

I am not going to pretend that I was a Nipsey fan prior to his death. In fact, I assumed he was another "no name" rapper and wondered why Lauren, with her flawless beauty and income, would choose him. I have to admit, Nipsey humbled the fuck out of me. I watched his first interview and was literally humbled by his intelligence, his energy that oozes positivity, motivation, masculinity, confidence, humility, and dominance while still being approachable, loving, genuine, nonjudgmental and so many other admirable qualities. When I finally listened to a song of his for the first time, "Stucc In My Grind", I actually teared up for this man. He really was something unique. I listened to the entire Victory Lap album and immediately felt an overwhelming loss as if I knew him personally. This man truly deserves all the praise he has received and I genuinely hope that his energy and influence continue to inspire his listeners and promote change and growth within our communities.
