On any other show on TV Brian Cox would wipe the floor with the cast, but here they’re pretty much all in that level. The performances of Logan, Kendall, Tom, and Shiv are all unbelievable.

Honestly, if they do this right and see the show through to its end perfectly executing everything like they have so far, this show WILL go into the league of Breaking Bad, The Wire and Sopranos. Its that good.

Matthew Macfadyen doesn’t get the love he deserves. He’s a beast and so good that he plays Tom with such ease. I wish Tom didn’t always play second fiddle to Shiv though.

Honestly, it makes it even more fun. For me, writing is all about pay off. The fact that he plays second fiddle to Shiv so much actually gives way to those few iconic moments where he stands up to her. Those scenes have more impact because you absolutely do not see them coming.

He is such a beast!!! I love him to bits in this. I used to always see him as a bit ''Mr.Darcy'' because that's just my favourite character he's ever played. But there is hardly anything of that left in Tom. But I soooo adore the love he has for Shiv, and how he just only wants her at any cost (except he's seems to be waking up from her spell in th elast episode..).

Yes, Macfadyen has always been a solid actor in his many British roles, but he's brilliantly funny in this. A great performance. As watchable as the rest of this great cast!

I think Succession is as close to flawless television that I've seen. It is a masterpiece of both style and substance, with performances and characters that already feel canonical. Its up there with the Sopranos and The Wire for me, and its only two seasons in. I cannot wait to see where the writers take these characters in the future

Scenes like the dinner scene I have to pause sometimes because it gets physically uncomfortable for me to watch. No other show on TV makes me feel so tense and nervous.

Now THIS is quite an analysis of good TV/Movie-making. Impressive. So it's not just about characters in a room acting their script. It's as much the way they verbally and physically interact. Yes, we do this in theatre all the time. But it's great to see this broken down for the screen. Very good!

This is the best show I’ve ever seen. The writers developed a masterpiece. Love the cutthroat between the siblings and between father and his children. I see more accolades in years to come. I can’t for season 3. What will be Logon do to Kendall? Shiv is my favorite character.

I love how real and relatable this show feels even when I'm not close to be in their position. I don't know how is like to have that kind of money, power, etc but I really understand how most of them think and feel identified with some characters and their internal struggles.

Absolutely amazing! I often tend to gravitate to one or two characters that feel like they are ''right'' in a midst of ''wrong'', but with this series I just kept bouncing from one to the other. Whenever you feel like a character is ''better'' than the others, they do something horrible. And your hope is lost. And the opposite happens so often too. You start feeling sorry for a character, and forgive their sins, only to see them doing something again to drag is down. Phenomenal!

The last 10 minutes of the season 2 finale made it evident (to me, one woman's opinion) that it was all about Kendall's character arc all along, while the others were merely supporting characters. And it was beautifully done.

Well put, it's the combination of all these elements that makes Succession like drinking treacle/molasses; it's dark, sweet and slick. But for me it all stems from the writing. Jesse Armstrong deserves to be the name associated with the show. Crazy to think this is the same writer as Peep Show, two of my favourite shows for very different reasons!

it's their emmy plug..... plus they have realized there's money and audience in it... no point leaving that on the table. Whatever indie content creators innovate... traditional media can do with far more resources and polish on a more regular basis. sports and comedy content on YT has seen a similar glut of 1st party content contending with and often pushing out YT creators. It was only a matter a matter of time before that started happening with film and TV

These people remind so much of my family. Not all of them are rich weirdos but the richer they are the weirder they get. Also, the humor in this show seems exaggerated but it's honestly spot on--most of our interactions are this funny, which is what makes them even sadder.
