Have you helped design a league or had any major input introduced into the game?

Imagine a race event and noone with a name showed up. People act like it doesn't affect most players as they don't participate but fail to understand that those races are "free" advertisement and people enjoy watching them. Ruthless is not for everyone, that was it's entire premise. But now many events and races are suddenly held in ruthless. So much for a side project and not taking away from the main game. At least the oversaturation is going to kill interest in ruthless even more. Hope to see 1-2 more leagues with this mindset so we can go back to normality.

And yet I love doing it every time with the slight changes they make to the passive tree. One of these days something will come along that will let it work, I'm sure of it.

if it makes you feel better, i finally got my dream of DORF to work this past league. never thought id be doing it on jugg, always thought inquis was the way. i was wrong. the new ammy seems good, DO/the wretch with cyclone, new leech masteries, seems like a good time.

​@@FarsightAE I more or less gave up, I league start like usual but I stop after level 30 usually when I don't feel like playing it anymore and then switch to Torchlight Infinite to rush the endgame bosses with self made builds that I didn't even theorycraft because respecing is extremely easy and crafting god tier items is cheap.

they are trying pretty hard to force people to play ruthless. they really seem to believe we would like it if we gave it a try.

TR pathfinder looks kinda good tho , 50% inc effect wither and auto wither with perma life flask sounds nice. Gotta see how it does in game

what weapon buffs? the crucible? yeah, they will be a massive buff... if you actually manage to get something useable out of them, as opposed to, you know, 4-5 nodes about trap on a build for minions or strike buffs for a spell caster...

i was hyped and then remembered that this league mechanic involves your weapons and you cant use one with flask skills lmao

@@MrRafagigapr you misunderstood the node. This works on all of your hit skills and uses 3 different flasks so not only can you use it with most attacks, you can use it with most spells too. Pathfinder poison blade blast will be sick especially with the wither node

@@TheModdedwarfare3 you misunderstood my comment when i said "league mechanic" i meant the skill tree that applies to weapon wont do shit since flask skills make not wield a weapon to use oyu can still upgrade your shield , but its not worth losing the power

I'm in the same boat as you lol. I might check it out, but by the sounds of it they're still hell bent on forcing the vision down all of our throats. Definitely won't be buying any MTX lol.

better you say, and how is crucing your 20th weapon in a roll, that came with bow and poison nodes, when you are a righteous fire jugg, or some totem and fire, for your skelly build. seriously, they even showed one of the later nodes being "put your brands on your reaper". do i really even have to explain why that shit will be pain?

@@kontaseefa4427 or replica iron commander, which is actually surprisingly better for survivability since it requires str.

Or you just take the shit item and melt it with another and hope it comes out a little better, you can work your way back up with shit drops.

@@callmetatersalad132 I thought of that, the problem is the cost of fixing it that way. You need the Forge special map to do that, and that looks like it will be pretty rare. (Recombinator rare, at least.) And what's worse, since you would just be constantly melting items that you don't have points invested, chances are you'll keep getting shit a lot more often than not.

@@hitlord yea just depends on how rare the map is honestly, i dont see an issue leveling a weapon a few points then combining. Like you said tho if cost of entry is too high then ya fuck it.
