It has to do with Covid, friendship, music, technology, history, how people preserve beautiful things in dark times...

Was Virgil familiar with the Septuagint? “Et in Arcadia ego” feels awfully familiar. I’m thinking Psalm 139:8 (138:8).

There are some poems in Virgil's corpus that suggest familiarity with the Septuagint, yes. In particular some paeans to Augustus use very clear Jewish imagery. It's pretty interesting.
