Dolores O' , a woman among women, a world ambassador, a woman who stood for others and challenged other women to be their very best self, God knows I'll miss her, and America will as well. >
It's not about how much time we have here, it's what you do with it and the person you are. Dolores shall reign in Irish folklore for centuries to come. A Limerick voice that the world fell in love with. Lyrics and songs we all grew up with. The Cranberries lifted Ireland high and proud, Dolores should be officially monumented or something nice. Ireland stand up! 😉
I've been living the earth for 40 years haven't heard a voice like hers, it's very unique and one of a kind. RiP dolores you are full of wisdom and love.
This girl had all the talent! She was awesome! From all the videos I have watched showed little shyness. I wish her the family the best. She will never forgotten.
RIP ANGEL LEGEND THANK YOU FOR YOUR AMAZING GIFT! I WAS IN PRISON WHEN I HEARD AND IT CRUSHED ME! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BIENG WITH THE VOICE OF AN ANGEL.
She and I were born the same year. I spent my time in the 1990's serving in the USAF stationed in the UK and absolutely loved The Cranberries. I miss her very much.
Thank you. You will never know what you meant to the world..we love you in America. Our hearts go out to your family. God bless you and again thank you D.
@Josef H. What harm is being done to reconcile the loss of someone that is loved using fantasy and their deity of choice. If you prefer truth then pick the of you prefer: Truth 1. You're an A$$! Truth 2. You will never loved! Truth 3. Your hateful attitude leads to early suicide among substance users! Truth 4. Sadness is rarely respected by those with little life experience and maturity!
@Josef H. You were NOT called any named. You were merely given Truth options for your choice as you see fit. Tough choices because all seemed to apply in my humble opinion. You chose to ridicule a person using God and a reference to angels by assigning Fantasy and Reality to their phrase, so you're obvious an atheist or at a minimum have no respect for other people of differing views. Either way, you can toughen up if you're going to be spouting obvious hate filled messages to strangers making a common and heart felt expression of love for another human using positive religious tones. Yet, you felt compelled to express yourself in typical leftist arrogant hateful condescending rhetoric. YOU assigned labels of fantasy leading to out of touch with reality inferences. Your defensiveness is unwarranted unless you simply are too inexperienced with those questioning your inappropriate rudeness. You'll get over it and the small cut will scab over leading you to a world where the thicker skin allows you to tolerate the cold harsh Reality you've created for yourself.
@Josef H. you make peace with what reality or what ever beliefs you have. I believe in God and I’m not trying to push my beliefs on anyone. If that offends you then I’m no apologizing you can scroll down my comment. Good day ✌🏽
Dolores will always be remembered, and I know everybody says that when a singer dies, but stop and think. 17 million records sold from No Need to Argue the second album 40 million records worldwide 2nd biggest Irish band of all time An appearance at Woodstock 94 Diverse both vocally and instrumentally Very few female lead singers, even less who were as big as Dolores Something of a comeback, she will always be remembered.
Dolores will be immortalized by all of her accomplishments. Dolores, should be looked on as an inspiration, and it would not surprise me if another female artist, possibly from Ireland, were to look on at Dolores as that inspiration.
I have had and still do , have Genu-ine Sadness when I heard about this Beautiful Lady last monday . I have stayed in Dun Laoghaire twice this year and should of gone to Limerick . ( I am from and live in Bristol UK ) ... Dolores , may You rest in peace , Never forgotten by us , God Bless You
The saddest day ever just one of those singers when I heard of her passing away I actually cried and she is missed so much by me and I’m sure the rest of the world as well
You were well known all over the world Dolores!!! I am French your voice was so beutiful!!! You were a very talented woman!!! The all world will miss you!!! Condelances to your famijy ! Your chidren and Friends! God keep.your soul in his heaven!!! Denis from France...
The sad loss of a beautiful woman in the prime of her musical career. Her melancholic lyrics combined with a hauntingly beautiful voice will be forever remembered in Irelands 🇮🇪 music history. Belated respects and condolences to Delores’ children, family & friends. Your earliest ’dreams’ of being successful became reality as lead singer/songwriter & guitarist with The Cranberries. You'll be sadly missed by Mike, Noel & Fergal. RIP Delores - Thanks for the many musical memories 🎼🙏❤️
Damn that was a baseball bat to the side of the head. I loved her deep cuts, the stuff you don't hear on the radio. Would " Yeat's grave yard lyrics" be most appropriate at her funeral? Or " So cold in Ireland."
We are here than gone, May the universal creator bless her, she has a wonderful voice, very attractive and so sad to see that talent and desire for peace in northern Ireland
I'm Irish live in Australia and I lived in Limerick for three years Laurel Hill a private school expensive was near us. Lucky girl her parents were obviously wealthy. I saw a lot of poverty in Limerick. I used to love the Laurel Hill school uniform.
Such and special and unique kind of talent. It fit everywhere. I didn't know part of her beginning was in choir worshipping God and his Lord Jesus. I pray she's in his presence now worshipping him once again. 🕊️📖🙏
Such a Terrible Tragedy. Dolores Was an Exceptional Singer with a Angelic Voice! Her Phrasing was Only Matched by Her Physical Beauty... RIP Sweet Spirit
I guess you'll have to try finding uploaded archives of the show. It's been a year and I'm still heartbroken. She was the voice of my teen years. Growing up as a teen in the 90s, the Cranberries was one of only 2 bands I listened to from that era (besides Roxette. Sadly, Marie's health issues forced her to retire.).
''biggest band that we ever had was u2 2nd biggest band without a doubt was the cranberries'' in Turkey cranberries was more popular than u2 and i guess in balkans and south america too.
Based on what? That you and your friends like them more? I love the Cranberries but U2 could sell out stadiums in all of those locations from 1987 to this day. The Cranberries could never dream of attempting playing stadiums at any point as a headliner there or anywhere else. Albums sold and hits in Turkey show the same result of U2 in an easy win. From your limited perspective you may think the Cranberries were more popular, but it's not true.
@@lukewarm1403 As a Turk I agree with Koray. U2 is pretty famous but in Turkey more people know Cranberries than U2. Thanks to the song "Zombie". Also talking about filling stadiums, Cranberries became a headliner for the Pope ceremonies what more do you expect 😂
