She soars through heaven now. Gone to soon for this old man. Her life meant something, she sang, her voice and lyrics pierced my heart. They are lodged there to this day. Someday I shall meet her. Probably sooner than later at my age.
The greatest band of all time with super cool music everyone loved. They were only out of school and still teenagers when they became super stars and they were sent to America where they cracked it there over night. No other band in the world can say that.Rest in peace Delores The Cranberries for ever .
We miss you when you're gone, Dolores. But we're holding on to your love and our love for you. I'd hold onto your hand forever. Love, and RIP, beautiful Lady.
I have Irish heritage; my great grandfather was half-Irish, and my great grandmother was from Dublin. I am proud of it and cherish it so much. Erin go Bragh!
And now YOU are gone.... :( you and your amazing and distinguishable voice. We will miss you Dolores. Now you have peace and when you wake up the world will be the place you could have only imagined - one with NO WAR anywhere, anymore...and our "enemy death" will be gone too. I am praying for your children and family. We shall never forget you, your music, your beauty and your passion...too too young to be gone. I love this song and miss Dolores, but this performance is strange... They all seemed bored to be there, the musicians and Dolores. They looked like they were just doing the job without enjoying it.
Thomas Favre Almost all performances from Something Else tour are too fast and heartless. Dolores will be missed forever. She didn't look happy anymore.
Andrea Camacho Do you know why she was not happy? I know she wasn't close to the other other members anymore and they just talked when the group reunited. Or is it because she's tired of singing the same songs over and over? Or maybe something was going on in her personal life...
She had a serious back pain, and had bipolar disorder. She was close to the other members, she said it many times during interviews, and I think she didn't lie about it, all of them had a strong connection. To my mind, they shouln't have continued touring... Dolores was in pain, so much pain.
What we later knew, that Dolores chose to make public, was that she pushed through so much to continue to bring us her music. And this song, in particular, I once read in an interview of hers, was especially difficult for her to sing after the death of her father. The fact that she was still performing at all is, just from what little I know about what she was going through, a feat of almost superhero level. I feel, deep down, that this song was so emotional for her and the band, for personal losses. They are tops in my book. Peace and love.
