I dreamed that Long December, by Counting Crows, was playing on the radio. Everyone in the room started singing along. The 90's were fully alive in that moment. I woke up feeling great, and just had to listen to that song. While listening, I go on Twitter, only to find Dolores O'Riordan had passed away. She had one of the most beautiful and unique voices of that, or any decade. It pains me to find out that a vital part of the 90's has died. "Maybe this year will be better than the last" the Counting Crows said. It's not off to a good start. Rest in peace Dolores. You and your amazing voice and spirit will be missed by me and millions more.
