Glad you enjoyed it. Mate I need to! there are too many lures out there and a giant variation in techniques out there - I'd be silly to not reach out and ask for opinions. Entry is in buddy, thanks for the comment!
I can already picture that smoked prawn being killer on the sand flats along with the garfish pairing perfectly when you've got that mix between eel grass and sandy bottom. Such versatile lures.
JollyTail will be my favorite colour too Byron, closely followed by HardyHead & FlashPrawn & Smelt looks great. Thanks for another great review & thanks Steve & the CRANKA lures team for producing great Australian owned & designed quality lures that catch heaps of fish. 🎣🐟👍
Some great colours in the range - tough pick between smelt, hardyhead and jollytail - but jollytail for me! Another great review Byron - keep the vids coming!!
Nice job, as always, Byron! Got to go with the Hardyhead. I’ve seen those little baitfish all over Australia. They’re like the Snickers bars of the estuaries!
Smelt for me. Agree with your observation on the vibration/feedback of the lure - something I am still getting used to. Would be great to see more of the YFW on lures - such an aggressive and hard fighting fish for the size.
Though they're all great, I'd say that I like the Hardyhead and Smoked Prawn the best of the bunch. The smelt one looks like it'd be a great go-to one, as well! Thanks for offering everyone the chance to win these terrific Cranka Minnows!
Hey Byron, Great content as always love seeing the new boat been put to use. With so many option that you have explained, I think my starting point would have to be the Jollytail as an all rounder and then progress with confidence. Enjoy mate, tight lines
Just finished up with my art exhibition main part being drawings in colour of Coastal/Regional N.S.W & Victoria so there wasn’t one pic in the series that didn’t feature a fishing rod. Popular we sold five. My favourite colour for the Cranka Minnows is Clear Ghost. Love them
I like the prawn colour in my local waters . Great on bream whiting tailor flathead and small snapper. You can put slightly bigger hooks on the shallow running lures and get them down deeper and change the way they suspend as well.
Caught my first fish on a hard body a few days ago. It was a nice little flathead on a jackall chubby. I'll be keeping an eye out for these cranka minnow in particular the BBQ prawn 😉. Love the channel mate great content for a semi noob like myself, cheers.
Great review Byron, haven't had the pleasure of hunting with one yet but I think they'll all catch fish. If I had to buy only one though I'd go with the Olive Galaxia, I find lures with a touch of green to them work well on most species. Well done to Cranka for another great looking lure.
As always great video mate, plenty of solid info keep up the good work🤙🎣 My choice would be smoked prawn/bbq prawn as you can’t really go past a prawn imitation for most bodies of water.👍
Great video and a great lure to match I like that the action is a little softer it’s good for spooky fish my favourite colours would be the olive galaxia and hardyhead loving the content mate keep it coming 👍👍👍
Definitely the hardyhead I think Byron. Love ya vids bud. This lure will rock for me with my new HWS compass I just bought from your last post. (I scored the package ) And if get the seat risers sent at the same time with these magic lures, game on. Jed will be cranking on track with the compass. Fish on!
Hell yeah! Nice work Jed. Mate you’ll be pumped with that kayak. I really am trying to avoid selling my compass. They are dynamite in the water. Sick vessel
Hi Bryon, thanks for the vid, very informative as always. If I had had to choose a colour I’d have to go with Hardyhead. You have become my ‘go to’ when I am investigating new products. Thanks again.
Hardyhead looks the goods for me. The silver blue combo every time. I’d love to see some different species targeted along with some whiting. Flathead next!
Dude another AWESOME vid, I think the best color is probably the HardyHead only because this little baitfish can be found all over Australia and that makes that color so viable for any tackle box.
@@ByronTeaHill thanks mate. I have been fishing A lot of Zman Lately but really wanting to get into the Hardy Bodies it seems like there not fished that often anymore?
Haven't had a chance to use my smelt yet but that flash of colour on the bottom definitely think would be a great attraction for them by the way love the channel thanks for sharing cheers
been desperate to try all the different crank lures for some time but they are like gold dust. In the minnow I'd be going for the hardhead or jolly tail, they look stunning.
Thanks Byron, I like your style of editing its a pleasure to watch. would like to see you do lot more reviews including rods and reels. I have just bougth a very nice bream out fit but unable to get out and use it for now. Im a sucker for the prawn colours and have a lot lures in these styles. I think the Jolly tail and Hardy head are the standouts for me. I was unaware of these lures so will have to check out the web site. Ken.
Hey Ken, I was pumped to read your comment mate. thanks for contributing. Funny you should mention gear. The next video next week is on the latest Freams from Daiwa! Entry is in for the competition, good luck!!!
The smoked prawn is the colour I have but haven't used it yet, will be now after getting this information, great video , so smoked prawn is my favourite,
@@ByronTeaHill Cheers Byron , I will be using it in Sydney harbour chasing yellow fin bream landbased , would you still put in the long pauses or a steady retrieve?
Hey Buddy , another great lure vid (been a while , i've been missing them lol). I recently got a couple of these minnows with my christmas present gift voucher, still to get a fish on them but the one i really like the look of is the Smelt colour. I'm headed to Tassie next week and reckon these will do alright down there with the pause for the black bream... GIDDEE UP !!!
Another nice video, I like the heads up regarding the hooks. I would like to try the Golden trout in the fresh but that Jollytail looks like it could cover a few environments.
The suspending and slow retrieve seems like they'd be perfect for fresh water bass fishing, trying to get those fish out of the snags to strike. Might have to get myself an olive one I think. 🎣
the jollytail is really cool and ive been using the clear ghost color and it works soooo good... keep up the good work mate your videos are so informative, keep it up yyeeww
Lovely minnow lure that I've been using on and off for several years in the deep diving version. I've really enjoyed the Garfish pattern but would love to give the Jollytail and Olive Galaxia a good run.
Uffft these look awesome the new ones the clear ghost and garfish I'd love to try any the swimming action look great also and as always awesome video mate!
I would probably say the hardy head, have definitely seen some similar looking baitfish in my travels, but also still learning how all of the lure colours work
