"You guys need new blood who has passion for the sport" thats exactly what it would take to see even half of what you're asking. you'd never see a twin cylinder turbo sport quad even if the market was booming imo. why? if you havent noticed, every "fast" stock sport quad is around the high 30s to low 40s peak hp-wise with a low to high 70mph top speed. why? safety, emissions and the old "gentleman's agreement" on top speed the manufacturers set years ago. no stock quad goes over 77 or 78 mph. some will say there stock 1000 4x4 goes low 80s, but thats likely a speedometer reading, not GPS verified. with that said, the rest seems pretty realistic IF we had the new blood, but beer and the means to carry it are more important to people today. side x sides it is! (not for me... them lol)

@@powersportsenthusiast1986 if they don’t care to put 230 hp motors in side by sides then why not put higher horsepower motors in atvs? No law says they can’t. If Honda Suzuki Kawasaki brought out new 450 sport quads the market would go crazy but they seem like they are trying to get away from it with side by sides around here Yamaha shops can’t keep a yfz450r in people buy them cause no other option but I think the yfz450r is probably the best platform for all around but your right these yuppies love them side by sides and when people quit buying them like they have they will start pushing sport atvs again

@@jordanvance1193 bud, golf carts and atvs arent the same thing. utvs have roll cages and seat belts, not to mention the law suits in the 80s before utvs were a twinkle in the manufacturers eye (which is why they disappeared the first time). besides who makes them and 4 wheels, utvs and quads have little in common. i doubt you'll see a sport quad resurgence , which would mark the 3rd time. the manufacturers are probably over it. yamaha sells every sport atv they make, but there is rarely any being sent to dealers, so that isnt surprising

It had a much shorter production run... In my experience the banshee was more fun to ride. The sound, the feel, and the looks of the banshee were better. Aftermarket support for the banshee was also 100x better. The 'quadzilla' felt very heavy. You had to kick it twice as hard to start it, and the heavy feel continued the entire time you were on it.

It won’t be anywhere near 75bhp with that crappy pipe.

I had 3 2::88. And a 92. 87 the head bolts was 7. 88 they changed it to 8. it's a 87. How many blow head gast. You replaced. 90- 92 was the best yrs
