You should reach out to BoostedBoiz - I recall them having to completely reengineer the steering to fit the J series and it didn't drive the same way.

This is one of the main reasons why I enjoy watching your videos. You do what YOU enjoy. Seeing someone genuinely excited to start a new, unique build that no one has done before makes the video far more entertaining in my opinion. I'm so used to seeing over dramatised videos, or copy paste builds with people following the meta, or people just chasing content that generates the most views they can get without caring about what they're actually doing. Honestly feels like a breath of fresh air watching stuff like this. The effort you put into making good content shows, and that's why I've been coming back to your videos for a number of years now. I still have my Black lineup tshirt with the AMG GTS, the Supra and the Mustang. I can honestly say it's one of the most comfy tshirts that I own. Looking forward to seeing this project finished.

J series also have a lot of Frankensteinability for easy power from other js. I think the j35 cam take tye intake manifold from the mdx which is 7mm bigger for more breathability. Type s Acura variants also have forged rods and crankshaft. So many possibilities

Stoked for the J swap, but please check the boostedBoiz videos. To fit the J series engine, they had to modify the steering rack / geometry which accordingly to kyle, made the car feel very bad. please consider watching some videos to better understand where the issue is and be prepared for it! keep up the awsome job!

I love the J series idea. The only problem that boosted boys had with their S14 was the steering shaft clearance and ultimately swapped it out for an LS in the end because of the steering shaft.

They put a ls in their s14 now so for now you will be about the only one lol anything but a ls makes me super happy lol takenthe j out of the civic and out a k in there when you go to redo it. Keep in mind that Hector is gonna be running three Honda Civics with Spoon engines. On top of that, he just came into Harry’s and ordered three T66 turbos with NOS and a Motec system exhaust.

Turbo J series is a cool change from the norm of S chassis swaps. 👍

K-swap is not overrated at all. LS swap is overrated.

Boosted boys had issues with their j and subframe clearance. They had to do something custom to the subframe. might be something to look into as i think it caused them to have angle issues and alignment issues. This is a fun idea but might result in a bad drift car setup.

The mustang in the back always taunts me. IM READY TO SEE IT DRIVE. Anyways great video man keep it up❤

The boosted bois had alot of issues with the steering rack and it was going to cost alot and be a pain to make fuction correctly that's why it has an ls now but if you are set on running the j Kyle has done the leg work and knows what I takes so I'd definitely reach out to him considering his issue is much more of an issue if you plan to drift it

Major issue that you will run into is the steering rack boosted boys had somebody make a custom rack but it still did not work really well and that’s the reason why they switch to an LS

J swaps are underrated. J30-j32 cams, valve springs and retainers= 9k revving v6... sick.K swaps are overdone but not overrated. Boostedboiz 240 is LS swapped now

Just read 3 comments about problems with steering durgin J-swap (not even seeing boostedboiz episodes), that somebody is giving you a good hints...but yo, don't act on impulses..😅 You have to fab out whole mounting points not having even fab guy full time - but you want to make it under 5k...you have to do wiring not even having the possibility to purchase some 'bolt on' harness like wire specialities. PLUS accordingly steering issues - what you know is most immportant in drifting. V6 overall is a good idea. But VQ, not J.
