Braille videos have inspired me to get back on my board after decades of adulting. My younger self would be embarrassed by my look, but if a helmet, wrist guards, ankle support, knee compression sleeves and padded shorts give me confidence, I'm not ashamed.

my mom went to cal poly and i surf at pismo. I did my first ever ollie at slo skatepark and i had no idea how sick it was. i wish i knew back then and actually knew how to use the obstacles. i love heading back there every surf trip tho (living in utah now).

That park is so fun! I was stationed at Vandenberg AFB for a few years (2017-1019) and would go to that park after spending the day at Pismo beach on the weekends. I've never been to a more quirky skatepark with solid locals. Also, so Chris in the crowd at a boxing event in Santa Maria around that time as well. You can spot that maroon beanie from a million miles away.

Put your health as your priority so you can get back on the board. You can do it. 6 months ago I was 320 and now I’m 100 pounds down and have been able to finally skate again for the first time in years. Trust me it’s well worth giving up the snacks

This place looks so fun... If you guys get a chance, I would recommend that you go watch the video of Andy Anderson and the rest of the Bones crew absolutely shred this skatepark. Cause they do tricks and create lines that are very unique and difficult, and it's very enjoyable to watch!

Between Braille and Johnny Giger, I was inspired to start skating again. After 15ish years, I lost everything. Granted, I wasn't amazing before, but I tried to Ollie while moving and rolled my ankle. It's gonna be a struggle to get back in the mix.

Just got my first skateboards. The super sexy Andy Anderson deck... As decor atm. Got a simple braille deck to learn how to Ollie... After less than an hour I can do a 4 inch stationary Ollie... Makin progress. Will start trying moving Ollie's once I can do a stationary kick flip.. Maybe I should work on shove its.. They are harder than Ollie's for me. Lol

Chris I feel your pain man, this year my allergies are acting up terrible and early as well. I couldn't even sleep last night and had horrific headache and head felt like it wanted to implode all morning at work. Luckily a few Tylenol and Bayer Allergy pills and a couple hours into work felt much better. With our climate change happening due to global warming, the crazy rain and wind even people who don't normally suffer from allergies ARE this year. I almost think somehow Covid19 compounded them idk. Feel better man👊
