The bridge is 100 % legal to ride over. There even used to be a toll both at the Barmouth side. I’ve rode over it many times , unfortunately you do get some evil looks of some of the walkers and happens these are always tourists and don’t know it’s a legal right of way for motorcycles. Happy adventure riding 👍

The adventure content is mega, keep it up! Your windscreen has two different mounting options, it looks like yours is in the lower setting. Try switching it around and see if the buffeting gets better. It's just one screw in the front and you pull it out and move it. As far as exhaust, Wings, Arrow, Remus or Dobermann slip-ons sounds the best imo, especially if you also get a decat midpipe. Have fun and spend the entire youtube fortune on farkles for the bike!

Another great video! Just fitted a Black Widow slip on exhaust on to my 890 Adv R, sounds better with removable baffle and well made for not a lot of money if i chuck it down the trail. Saves my stock exhaust for resale.

Love it yeah, I've been across Barmouth bridge on an R1200RT...in the rain! That was fun! It only just fitted in some places Did the other toll bridge a bit further up as well - 52p as I recall and they don't give change!

The ride and view along the A496 out of Barmouth North towards Snowdonia is stunning 👍

As for the screen, the Puig sport screen and Rade garage rally screen are a good replacement for the stock screen in terms of improving the buffeting. Rebelxsports also make bolt on side panels which makes a huge difference too 👍

Great vid. Love my 890. You can adjust the screen, there's a bolt you need a torx key for but it has two positions. Not an "on the fly" adjustment, but adjustment none the less.

Northumberland has a load of riding up here, was camping last year and got talking to a bloke from london he had done over 800 miles in the 7 days he was up here for !!

The 990 is a tank. The 640adv was a good combination of performance and lighter weight adv, sorta before it's time. So awesome your mates caught the disease😄The best of both worlds. Subscribing after watching your adventure stuff, a tip for riding with your mates: Get yourselves a pair of Sena Intercoms so you can have some bants while riding on the trails! Especially with the very efficient meshing tech for the new ones... It makes such a difference for long rides and even while driving solo, because then you can have some music or a podcast on while also having google maps helping you navigate.

You need to get to the end! Uwchmynydd past Aberdaron and you'll see coast of Dunlearie on a VERY clear day. Was this route taking in Strata Florida at all?

I get similar looks when I'm on my ebike lol. I'm thinking of getting back on motorbikes again now but would miss the ebike that can go pretty much anywhere, how many of these green lanes are there around Yorkshire I wonder? I was thinking of getting a fjr1300 but now thinking an adventure bike might be the way to go.

I rode that bridge a while back on a trip from rhayder and back to Barmouth when I was on a 125 it does just feel wrong but it is 100% legal because it used to be a toll road :)

I thought that was you on Barmouth bridge on Saturday. I recognised the bike/coat/ helmet combo. I think you called us “real bikers” parked on the bridge. We did most of those lanes as well as bastard lane and happy valley bombers lane too. Absolutely mind blowing scenery, shame it rained on Sunday 😢

It'd suggest wearing armored gloves now that your riding on roads, you dont want your thin gloves to make contact on tarmac.
