That ball draw was aggravating. I remember watching a video of Cael go with Keith Gavin at OTC shortly after Keith won NCAAs in 2008. It was the same thing. Cael just had his way with him.

I had forgotten how bad the rules were back then. I wrestled in the trials in 07 and they were very similar.

What a tremendous interview. I learned so much about world's and free style I was not fully aware of. Cael is a hero, a gentleman and a master teacher. He is simply great for America and wrestling.

If Cael is still top dog now, I would imagine how he would be if he trained right now for WTT and tried to make a world team at 92kg

Pyles woke up crima morn and crept down the stairs and under the tree was little PSU singlet that had CP on the back and a little tear welped out of the corner of his little PSU eye. He wore it all day, all week, all thru the holidays. That was the best ever holidays he ever remembered. Ah 2022.

I was at northeast regionals that year. I was a senior at SUNY Brockport. The buzz was wild that Cael was in Brockport.

Those old rules sound like something a preschooler would come up with. Sheesh.

I wrestled Chael Sanderson in 2003. He kicked my ass. I was the 2002 NCAA wrestling champion at 184lbs.
