The culmination of all the Ronnie Radke saga, all the singles and the controversy has lead to Popular Monster finally coming out. And honestly, I don't think I've heard or witnessed such a massive contradiction and hilariously non-self aware project in a LONG time. I really do mean it when I say this may be the worst album I've heard this entire year. I wanted to analyze the background of this album, Ronnie's trajectory towards being a mouthpiece and how it all has helped Falling In Reverse get to the popularity they are at. This one was hella fun to make. But what're your opinions of Falling In Reverse and this album?! Be sure to let me know down below!!!!!!! But for now, cheers, rock on, stay heavy and have yourselves a fantastic rest of your day or night, depending on when you see this!!!!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@TheMetalTempestYT yes indeed its the worst album of the year. Name 1 metal album that came out in the last 4 years that has bigger numbers (views, listens, etc) overall
I doubt I’ll even listen to it because it’s essentially Ronnie having another online rant but in music form. I have more interesting music to listen to.
Okay I'm starting to think people never gave Falling in Reverse a listen. Like many of his songs are Ronnie, talking about Ronnie. I don't get why people are surprised this dude is capitalizing on the hate, it literally works. Falling in Reverse is more hated than ever right now, yet they are the biggest and most successful they have ever been. Popular Monster, Zombified and Watch the world burn are songs that did incredibly well, and people expect them to change up on it and do something totally different from the 3 songs that have been received so well by fans? I can't help but say that the songs are literal bangers. Corny lyrics? Yeah, but so do many FIR songs??? Whether you hate this album or not, it's doing great and realistically speaking, it will be a great success.
As I said near the end, for sure. I don't doubt it'll do well and don't question for a second the formula for success is there. They're pandering hard and that's fine. And no one doubts it's about Ronnie, either. It goes past corny and is more mentality. It's how he contradicts himself at every turn. And I don't believe anyone is confused or surprised he's capitalized on negativity because that's been his motto--its just his ego and weird antics mixing with his declaration that he doesn't care about criticism that makes him look incredibly immature imo
What he’s done the past few years, is that he’s perfected the long lost music genre of “rap metal,” that really hasn’t seen much success since papa roach and limp biz kit. FIR is blowing up so fast that even MGK is starting to copy them, it’s ridiculous
@@TheMetalTempestYT I get that, but I always have had the impression FIR is self-centered corny lyrics. Maybe it's more now than it has ever been, but you can't listen to a band like this, knowing their image and background and expect anything else than this. I love FIR because of the rap and metal combination and the songs honestly are so catchy and such a vibe. Ronnie has an ego, yes, but at this point it's the mans whole identity and it is not something that bothers me at this point. I get it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but bashing on them for an "issue" that's been around since the beginning of the band seems a bit odd to me. To give you an example listen to "Alone", probably the corniest self-centered song Ronnie has ever made, but somehow it's a vibe and if man can make that work I'm willing to listen.
As someone who listened to NF a lot and came across Falling in Reverse, I get it! Listened to a few of their songs just to realize it was the same formula just on repeat. Also when I learnt about it I can't stand him as a person anymore! If he wants to do something original he needs to drop his ego imo which might be too much cuz it looks like it's a big part of him LMFAO
oh yeah it defines him tbh LOL But yeah, I have off and on listened to NF quite a lot throughout the years and I immediately noticed how almost point for point it is. It's barely inspiration it just sounds like copying on some songs like Prequel 😭 it's hard to look past his b.s so I don't blame you one bit!!!!!!! :] cheers
Falling in Reverse has now become a guilty pleasure for me. With all said Ronnie Radke is truly an incredible artist. He is phenomenal at vocals and creating catchy hooks. And although I don’t hate him and I do think as a person he’s a bit of an asshole but harmless over-all as he definitely plays into the persona because as you said, it’s what has gotten him and his band the success they now have. But I feel like other than a few songs. Popular Monster was just thrown together and I hate that fact. ‘Prequel’ is definitely a guilty pleasure and yeah ‘Popular Monster’ is a banger. I also really like ‘Voices in my Head’ as it’s what is mostly different as the song is about Hypochondria and it really hits hard for me as someone that has struggled with it for over a decade. Other than that - yeah it kind sucks and it’s just 90% rehashed songs that have mostly now been out for years. The newer tracks other than ‘Prequel’ I don’t even care about. I listened once and it was basically like “Well, this is disappointing” ‘Ronald’ is good, solely for the fact that it has TECH and Alex Terrible, other than that it would be a mediocre Deathcore song. I really loved where they were going with “Losing my Life” and the likes. Even with “The Drug In Me is Reimagined” and it’s what had me liking ‘Falling in Reverse’ But now this direction, I don’t really like. It’s frustrating because I know Ronnie and his band can write absolutely mind blowing music. Like to this day, I still think ‘Losing my Life’ is one of the best songs they’ve ever written and then it just got thrown out the window. Such a shame.
I love Ronnie I love his music but he is an asshole my cousin knew the merch guy and got on the tour bus twice and he was rude asf but it’s Ronnie radke lol
I used to really love FIR and Ronnie because of one thing that is undeniable- his voice. The first time I heard “the drug in me is reimagined” I was in tears because of the lyrics and the way he sang it. Now at this point with Ronnie his singing has gone by the wayside and all he cares about is rapping about how he’s misjudged and everyone hates him. Literally every song he’s come out with since zombified has sounded the same and he’s just trying the recreate the formula of popular monsters popularity. He’s stopped caring about the music and only cares about just getting more popular no matter how it comes. Over it! Hopefully the next album is better cuz this one is trash and I doubt I’ll listen to it again.
What people don't understand is the album isn't strictly about him. If you look at the lyrics you can tell that its about how messed up the world is rn and how cancel culture hits anyone for anything even if it was years ago. Bad Guy was the one he really wrote because of what people think of him. And if you paid attention to him you would understand that he only goes after people that go after him. He doesn't start it he just finishes it. So if your really gonna talk crap about him. Maybe educate yourselves before you hate or talk trash about the tracks.
Much respect but I understand everything you said perfectly. People aren't talking about him years ago. They're talking about his shitty and harmful opinions now. He says he wants open discussion but only if it is positive clearly. So a song like Bad Guy is yes, about how he's seen because of what he's done. He's not being attacked for nothing and I've educated myself quite a lot. I've followed the stuff about him in depth from his own words and posts and songs and it's obvious where he stands. I just don't respect that mentality or outlook and if he was so pressed about how people see him, maybe he should stop doubling down on the reasons people criticize him in the first place.
@@TheMetalTempestYT he doesn't like the idea that people can say whatever and get away with some of the shitty things they say so he steps in. I don't blame him the thing people say really don't understand his point and take it the other way if that makes sense. I don't mind peoples opinion. Until it gets stupid and false. Like what ronnie said he doesn't care unless the opinion is extremely false you know?
@@ozofficial07Calling him an arsehole is not wrong though. The lyrics are about HIM!!! Not the world, not any actual victim, but HIM!!! He’s the victim, ignore the fact he’s been fucking people way more than he’s been fucked
What are you? Socrates? You’re not an intellectual. He’s a woman-beating, failed streamer who tries to act hard on the internet when people criticize him for being deplorable and horrendous at making music. “Why do good girls like bad guys?” “My life is like a videogame” “In my Gucci sneaks” Bro has the mental capacity of a 12 year old. We all know he was the cell block blow up doll in jail. It has nothing to do with “cancel culture” he’s incapable of being an adult.
going to be honest, I don't see much beauty in this album outside of a few moments and maybe a few songs. I'm totally down to hear your perspective though
I said in the video he definitely has his moments And if I can ask what do you mean by metal side quests bc I don't rly see him doing anything unique or original here and if anything I think it's some of the most derivative material yet LOL
The tough guy posturing from Ronnie mixed with his "everyone hates me.... why does nobody lie me" style of lyricism shows a lack of = self refelction. Also I just tire of a man in his 40s actice like an edry 14 reoll on twitter. Removing all the other stuff he's done in his past. his personality is grating. Like why do you wanna be the modern day Axl Rose man??? He knows ppeople still hate Axl to this day. Also I struggle with how people weaponize cancel culture so they can get away with shitty behavior. The people who complain about cancel culture are just as annoying as those who cancel people in my opinion
@@TheMetalTempestYT yeah lol that's what I was thinking. Oh and also if you do another what your favorite genre says about you could you add Rock a billy punk AKA Phyco- Billy. I do think it's a very over looked genre or hell maybe a video at some point. I would love to hear something about it. Also to answer you question I am not a country fan but, I do like rock a billy punk.
Maybe I need a little more listens but genuinely the song called “Ronald” is the greatest new song that has came out recently. I personally enjoy how theatrical it sounds with heavy hitting breakdowns. We haven’t heard any bands pushing the boundaries like this in awhile.
L take on FIR's almum. Its a great album, musically and creatively. It is one of my all time favourite albums. FIR is more popular now than they have ever been. If you don't get it , you don't get it.
Ronnie's music isn't about the beat its about the messages he puts in the lyrics. Prequel is about him trying to get himself together and stop destroying himself. then popular monster is about his mental health. all my life is about how throughout his life he has messed up and wants to fix it. Ronald talks about how he thought the world was a good place but found out that it was a messed up place and he also talks about his mental health. Voices in my head also talks about his mental health and multiple different things. Bad Guy talks about how everyone talks trash or calls Ronnie names and his response to all the hate. Watch the world burn talks about how messed up the world is. Trigger warning talks about how people say we have freedom of speech but then big tech sensors almost everything they disagree with. ZOMBIFIED talks about how everyone has become very stupid and doesn't think about anything and just follows what the media says. NO FEAR talks about how people get cancelled for saying something others disagree with. Last resort is a cover from papa roach but both songs talk about if they killed themselves no one would care or know that they did. Now this is what i got from the songs but think whatever you want about the band and the album.
@@yuna6705 I'm a fan & don't take it too seriously. People can dish it out but can't take it, & most people just need to stop being so butt hurt over every little thing in this world & LAUGH!!!! makes life better! ;)
I hate it this new strategy when the whole album is released as singles it kinda ruins the album for me. These songs are either so formulaic that i get bored or so confusing (cough cough Ronald) that i wonder why someone thought it was a good idea to even make it. All the songs also like tread the same ground: ronnies victim complex "everyone is against me" well yeah because you keep making this crap.
I dont like how he said on twitter that its not copying NF because NF was rapping but his parts in Prequel are more like "spoken word". Huh?.. Its clear he was influenced by that style but maybe he thought it wouldnt matter & he could do it better especially adding the visuals that people wouldnt care. & from what ive seen most ppl have said "hey that sounds like NF" but it doesnt bother them. He even has a line in Prequel saying hes hypocritical but he'd say it to your face. But here he is acting like its not similar or its different enough. Same with the ppl copying him in the video, it reminds me of Lucky You video with Eminem & Joyner Lucas. They're mimicing whatever they do. Also the snakes in the grass line was very similar by Joyner in that same song but said differently by Ronnie. Still feels borrowed to me in a way. Then theres the whole crucifix thing & i know he doesnt like what Chris Motionless said & sent him a subliminal in i think No Fear maybe. But in Immaculate Misconception Chris has the crown of thorns put on him & being pinned to the cross & here Ronnie is doing it. Im sure theres several music videos that have similar scenes like that, its like he feels hes Jesus in a way but isnt even close
I have no opinion on Ronnie's music. I legit could care less because his demographic is going to grow up and become adults. Then again, I said the same thing about Drake fans and those people I said "I TOLD YOU SO!!!!"
I really liked this album honestly and I don't really mind your dislike of it at all. I'm only commenting because I've seen people insult your physical appearance and say terrible things about you and felt like I needed to comment that not everyone who liked this album are like that. I just found it to be a fun listen with mostly good tracks and a lot of variety. I feel like 2024 is the year a lot of "out there" artists released their stuff which is unique and anything but bland or interchangeable at the cost of being inconsistent and kind of blatantly cringeworthy. I personally respect works that take themselves 100% seriously while knowing they are releasing material very far off the scale of what is considered commercially viable and mass appealing. I found this album literally ending with a sincere and melancholic cover of an infamously funny Papa Roach song from 2000 to be a blatant sort of message that not only is Ronnie and his dumb opinions "Un-cancellable" but also the usually mocked genres of the past that these days are easy punching bags online. Radke himself is pretty much living, breathing proof that 4chan users are dead wrong and if 2019's Joker was real, he would still be a massive loser and mocked relentlessly.
Ronnie had a massive crossover from alternative culture to MMA culture when Popular Monster started being played when fighers would walk out. It's like he's fully planted his feet in that culture hence all the right wing talking points without actually being fully right wing himself. Honestly cannot blame him as there is so much money in that Tom Mcdonald space and it is an easy market to grift.
Wow this review is fantastic. So many excellent points that are articulated super well. New to your channel, hope to see more reviews from you in the future!
I love Falling In Reverse, but I wouldn't say this album is cringe or the worst of any means, but it's definitely their most disappointing especially for long time fans who have already heard the majority of album for the last five years. Like no album in 7 years and only 4 new songs? He can do better in my opinion. But as much as I do enjoy FiR's music, I definitely fell out of love with Ronnie as a person. I've known about Falling In Reverse since around Fashionably Late, but I didn't get into them until the time in between Coming Home and Popular Monster (the single) and the narrative around him at the time was "He's made some mistakes and said some dumb shit, but he's trying to better himself as a person" and half a decade later, I see he's 40 years old, lives in a fucking mansion in Malibo, has a wife and daughter that love, has millions of fans, makes millions of dollars a year on one song, and sells out arenas, but still cries whenever someone says anything even remotely negative. And for him to have the balls to say "it's a marketing strategy" Yeah if you weren't as big. Ronnie is over exposed at this point he doesn't really need anymore exposure.
you managed to put like 35 bs in these 12 lines of word salad, man. better don't say you like and/or know FIR all you say about Ronnie proves the opposite. you're the masterpiece of a fair weather "fan", intentionally covering everything Ronnie does with crap. as if you didn't know what he's done during these 7 years, how many singles he released INSTEAD of an album, bc he never promised you an album, on contrary, he said he never will release one again, yet he did, for the fans who appreciate it, ofc, not for you. since 2022 he was talking about AN EP on the way, not album, he said it will include 5 songs, yet he released 6 (SIX) new songs only this year of 2024. but no, you continue with the bs, bc facts don't matter, if you wanna cry you will. haters gonna hate, loser. don't ever bash Ronnie for not handling criticism bc you're someone who literally can't handle facts.
I HAD TO SEE IF I WAS JUST INSANE OR IF IT WAS THAT BAD LMFAO Whenever I talk about a record I try to listen a few times to see different nuances or if the perspective changes since a first listen can be a bit biased but God no somehow it got fucking worse 🙏
At least we got Coup De Grace by SeeYouSpaceCowboy to help us recover🫶 If you guys can, go listen to the record and if have a chance to see SeeYouSpaceCowboy live and meet them, definitely do it, amazing band that blows FIR away.
As someone who never listens to lyrics (actively ignore them sometimes but mostly it comes naturally to not know wtf is being said lol) and also as someone who didn’t even know Ronnie was the dudes name, I happened to enjoy some of the songs on this new album. Not all. Like, my fiancé enjoys the country style one with that Jelly dude. I really don’t like country.. so big no for me. I’m also not a fan of rap or trap. Kinda makes me not wanna re-listen to the album because there’s so much. But damn, one redeeming song is Ronald. I fucking love it. I could absolutely do without the excessive rap section but even that isn’t so bad, I got used to it after a few listens. I recognize the line ‘how did it get this way’ or something similar, and I always sing that line lol. Sad to hear that the Ronnie man is a douche incarnate. That’s too bad. I just kinda lumped falling in reverse into the: ‘just another nostalgic band’ category. Ergo: not worth looking into whatsoever. Interesting to hear your take on all of it. You were hating on the dude a lot but whatever the hell he’s said or done might be warranted so I’m not judging. Sometimes we just have to vent about the assholes of the world. I won’t look into the guy because I especially don’t waste my time learning about people from bands, and on top of that, bad people who will just irritate me for no good reason. However, I’ll keep in mind to not ‘promote’ any of the songs so I don’t look like I support any of the crap he might be saying or doing. So tldr, thanks for the heads up lol.
I agree on a lot of what you said, but I have to be honest and say, this video is filled with irony. You do all the same mistakes on this video that you blame Ronnie for. Cringy, whiny, bad attitude, "i'm so smart", childish rant. Kinda like most of the artists you spoke about. Only they do it with style and this video is just the cringe.
That's the thing, though, I personally do not have a self-righteous opinion when it comes to Ronnie nor his fans. I have no qualms with the people who truly enjoy him and have quite a few people close to me who are active FiR fans. I'll always try to spark discussion in an empassioned way because music genuinely is my passion and talking about it and the culture behind it really intrigues me. But if someone wants to challenge that, or feel completely opposite, that's cool too, always! :] and while I try to put in a bit of comedy or roast/jabs for good fun, everything I say comes from a very serious and well-intentioned place of critique. cheers!!!!!!! :D
I sincerely think that the guy enjoys being the Fred Dust of this generation and seeing the positive side, he even manages to get a lot of new people into metal but really what hurts me the most is that Falling was an original and fun project when their first album came out taking a cartoon version of that somewhat glam sound mixed with metalcore and popscream from those years when they had Escape The Fate, Black Veil Brides and Blessed by a Broken Heart but the loss of all the members left Ronnie with absolute control of the ideas in the band and they just led to this disaster from a musical point of view (I still think Loosing My Mind was their last great song), I just prefer not to listen to it but I'm not going to be a fan who tries to prevent others from enjoying this type of music, if someone likes this, that's fine, the energy it transmits is another way of showing that metal manages to occupy all human emotions, no matter how pathetic they may be.
I would beg to disagree but I assume if you don't believe so you agree with his beliefs and opinions so it's likely a moot point. to each their own--cheers ♥
Preach It brother I agree with everything you are saying because he did not do nothing no different on this album. It’s always the same old same old with Ronnie. Because after I heard about four songs on the album I was less interested in it then all he’s gotta do is just put more creativity and songs and change them up not the same o same o
I like falling in reverse newer stuff better than there old stuff and I thought there would be a lot more songs on the album but I was really disappointed and thank you for pointing out how bad this album is when the new singles came out they were so good I thought it would be like that but no and I think Ronnie should change as a person so he doesn’t get hate I don’t like who is as a person to be honest like what your saying is so true about him thank you for this video and I agree with you 100%
And something else I don’t understand why does people go so crazy over falling in reverse when there are way better bands out there then falling in reverse because people treat falling in reverse like they are Taylor swift of metal and I don’t care nothing for Taylor Swift
I don’t understand why some people think that him writing about the hate he gets is something bad to do. Eminem has been doing that for decades and it works for everyone who does it. Numbers don’t lie. To each their own but I don’t think it’s a crappy album personally.
Because he cries victim while also telling people to not give a fuck. He’s also done genuinely horrible things, like take part in killing someone and potentially sexually assault women
Idk I don't rly care abt the person or what he thinks he is an asshole and some concerning transphobic thoughts so as a trans person that's kinda meh but idk I like the music what can I say? Yeah it's cheesy and not perfect and kinda forgetable except like the singles but idk I love popular monster, ronald and zombiefied they sound good voices in my head and watch the world burn are p good too
I used to love this band but this album is fuckinh horrible...his other stuff had actual meaning especially in the 2017 album. Don't know what guy is doing
Nah. The album is neither the worse thing nor the best thing. Its on the so bad its good spetrum. I cant be bored by it. Ronald is my top song by them. I like in your face crazy metal. Theres no one in metal being in your face. Sure there is Knocked Loose and Thrown. Pisscore is great. But as far as larger rhan life personalities go, Ronnie Radke is just doing what Fred Durst, Marilyn Manson, Ted Nugent, KISS and many others do. Piss people off with their music and say controversal stuff. Nothing new. Rebellious rock n roll is what we need. As far as the music goes, its good modern rock and some core music. Im from the era of New Wave Of American Heavy Metal, Ive been listening to metalcore since 2003. The rap isnt offputting. Its NF rap but the style is closer to Tech 9 which i love, and East Coast Hardcore rap like Jedi Mind Tricks and Everlast. Country white boy core rap is in. Im all for it. Been listening to Hardy and Lakeview. Ronnie doing his stuff with Jelly Roll is just doing what Everlast and Kid Rock did and making it new. #1 song on rock radio. As far as the rock side, i have no problem with octanecore. Its gateway metal like nu metal and hair metal before them. Falling in Reverse is the best gateway band to get into in 2024.
Whoaw so much angryness Why Ronnie music work ? Cause he have talents, he can sing, he can rock, he can rap, he can ... opera ... Just accept it ... Cause you just did what he said in this album
1st of all learn English I had an aneurysm trying to read what you said. 2nd ronie had some decent vocals and it ends there. He raps normally, he sings normally and his songwriting skills are straight dogwater. He literally has a song (Bad guy) which seems like it was written by a kid
There’s ways to talk about yourself that resonates with others…then there’s Ronnie Radke. I still haven’t taken NexGen out of my faves. I have no time in my neurospicy brain for baby Ronnie whining about how sad he is and how wahhh everyone hates him.
Your whining and complaining is top notch here lol People like what they like, your opinion is exactly that,an opinion..just like mine Prequel is pretty damn good,I don't give a f what you think or anybody else for that matter I'm not sure why ppl would care what you say but here we are lol Anyway keep doing what you're doing 👍🏻😆 I don't really listen to FIN anyway 🤷🏻♂️
It’s pretty simple haters of Ronnie and Falling in Reverse are fighting a war they will Never win. Instead of doing the smart thing and stop engaging him, tweeting, making vids. Unfortunately they can’t do that so all your doing in giving him more exposure and making him richer.
I'm not really a Ronnie fan one way or another but to draw that comparison about the people who are cancelled versus what Ronnie is saying. It's not like people haven't attempted to cancel people over more trivial matters, that's just true. It's also true that people have been cancelled over non-trivial matters and things that are important like with Cody. Both are true but don't then take the point Ronnie is trying to make and twist it so that he somehow is supporting pedophiles that is at worst manipulative and at best just you being incompetent in being able to construct a fair argument. I was with you up until that comment cause that's way off base and unnecessary. Does not help you make your point. Here's the thing. I don't really like Ronnie because he will manipulate events and frame things in a manner to benefit himself and if you just end up being all "you're so insecure and it wouldn't surprise me if you were a pedophile" like.. why would I like you anymore? He has enough bad things to trip himself up with don't make all these allegations. I mean if you wanted to highlight it just say he wants to say it doesn't matter but then makes a whole album about it you don't need to add he's insecure. It's bad enough to have someone like Ronnie but then you just go on personal attacks and it gives creedence to what he's saying "everyone hates me" and then you make an entire video explaining why everyone hates him like your earlier point about him feeding in to it. Can't be bothered with either personality type to be honest.
So I really appreciate this comment and want to go into some of the background of why I said what I said. The pedophile thing was a joke at best and wasn't intended to be majorly serious but truthfully, I'm speaking from experience of the spaces I come from. I'm LGBTQ+ myself and have crossed paths with dozens of right wing folks who talk exactly like Ronnie and have listened to and watched countless channels to try to understand their perspective. And truly there IS a correlation in that specific extreme sect of just creepy ass people and groomers, some of which I've personally smited out of spaces I'm in. It is a generalization, but many accusations tend to be confessions and the amount of people who act anti cancel culture and act this way in general that turn out to be horrific and deflecting is crazy. And to fight cancel culture so adamantly when the major cancel stories nowadays are people who objectively deserve it makes you wonder what he is disagreeing with, yeah? As for cancel culture as a whole, trivial matters get people buzzing for a week or so, but does it really do much? Outside of sincerely bad people like Kris Tyson and EDP who are objectively proven to be wrong, most drama I see blows over and platforms don't go anywhere. There are dozens of damaging, bad people who have done bad things or been assholes and still have platforms of millions. And that's not even getting into musicians that maintain popularity thereafter. I stand by Ronnie being insecure because of how he reacts to criticism. He acts as if he enjoys reviews only if they agree. He had an entire stint of striking videos that talked poorly of him and adoring those who talked kindly. He has a fragile ego because the second his tough guy persona gets challenged, he tends to go ballistic. He cares much more than he likes people to think. Mostly I wouldn't be saying these things if I haven't personally dealt with a lot of Ronnie's type and taken hours upon tens of hours to research and hear out the other side of the fence. And he fits almost every bill for how he acts in my opinion. Once again I appreciate the comment and discussion and I hope this makes some sense. Thank you again and cheers.
Yeah. I only listened to the new songs. I sadly once was a fan of FIR. If you asked me my top metal bands 3 years ago when I first got into metal I would of said Korn, Slipknot, Falling In Reverse, Bullet For My Valentine and Disturbed. I still like most of those bands. But now that I'm older and my taste evolved I can't help but laugh at the fact the drug in me is my top song on Spotify wrapped 2021 was the drug in me is you lol 😅. I think this album is plain boring and all the songs are all about the same stuff. The Ronnie fans are so insane I swear. Like if you say anything about him there like "I hope you get pushed into an erupting volcano".
Amigo, you spent the entire video talking about Ronnie Radke with a few sprinkles of ACTUALLY talking about the album, like wtf? I thought you were gonna get in-depth but you only ranted for 13 minutes.
Releasing an album where you try to paint yourself as an outcast or misunderstood when you constantly pick fights with far more talented musicians and respond vitriolically to every Tiktok comment you get to stay in the limelight is absurd.
It's so contradicting LOL also portraying it like you don't care at all when clearly your ego gets shattered the second it's barely challenged is wild to me
I totally agree with you, bro I don’t know why Ronnie had to go all rap on this album and I do not like Rap an metal together the new left to suffer album is way better than the new falling in reverse
I like Ronnie and the album. But all of these points are perfectly valid. I strongly dislike all my life and trigger warning and some of the corny songs. But Ronald, popular monster and watch the world burn are catchy and fun. I hate people who worship him and act like he's perfect. Nah. He's an asshole, he knows what he's doing. And people who can't take opinions are so, so sad. (And ps I do like you 😉🤣) All in all, I'm the middle of the road with him. Don't love him, don't hate him. Good music and fun band to watch from the outside. But that's just me.
First of all I'd like to remind everyone that music is a type of art, so expressing emotions is natural and isn't a bad thing, in fact putting emotions behind art makes the viewer feel that emotion, which is something i can relate to, my past suicidal depression and the song "popular monster" is one example, if you dont like his songs, simply dont listen to them, if you don't like the art, thats on you, make your own or something, you claim, he bitches about shit for popularity, yet you're no better, you are against something you have become, if you dont like something, just keep it to yourself. Respectfully.
I've never listened to anything from him, mostly because I've only heard of him/them on this channel. And haven't read or heard any reason to change that .
sometimes I feel like ppl just hate on Ronnie just bc the way he responds to his haters but most of the haters seem to never listen why Ronnie says what he has to say like just because he's famous does not mean he doesn't have feelings and won't get affected sometimes the internet creates horrible rumors that aren't even true and expects the person to not get a reaction no one wants a very bad rumor going around that is not even true :(
I have not a lot to add or say honestly lol, but this might be the worst album i have listened to in full length honestly, it just really is corny and the lyrics consist of ronnie either going "Hey look how badass and edgy i am" or crying about woke cancel culture or whatever
Let me guess.....dad didn't love or hug you enough? 11 minutes of hating on an artist. Just say you didn't like the album and move on. All of this hate rant was not necessary
Doesn't really boil down to disliking the album and if that's your takeaway I believe you missed the point of my criticisms. If you enjoy the record or FIR that's totally fine. I'd just followed the drama and development of Ronnie's shitty behavior for years now and this was a big culmination of all of that in a record so I felt like analyzing what lead to it. The record itself is inoffensive and boring, don't particularly care about it. More what it represents. Cheers
@@andreaspatsalides1914dance monkey has over 3 billion streams. Baby by Justin Bieber has 1 billion streams. baby shark has 60+ million streams. Those are some of the most hated songs yet their streams are high. Making a point by showing the streams of a song makes you look not only clueless but also really dumb.
Dude, anyone can make music more tolerable than Ronnie. Also, this argument is retarded. It’s the equivalent of being told that you can’t tell the chef the chicken is raw because you can’t cook. It’s the equivalent of saying you can’t complain about a car’s reliability because you’re not a mechanic
Run his mouth about everything! Oh and what do you call that you doing in this video? Hm you are running your mouth! And one more if you hate his music then why in the hell are you listening to the album? And TWO times! Why? And please show us what you can do! But dont run your mouth, we have just seen you doing that! 😂
Oh no… Did this teenager that looks like he lives in his Grandparents’ basement with a mullet just critique someone that matters? Brother… Get a girlfriend.
so I'm very much 23 almost 24 and currently engaged & moving into a new house relatively soon with them LOL but I suppose it's the classic thing of if you can't have a discussion, insult the person. Cheers
I actually usually don't fwiw. I have fairly long hair but a friend fucked my bangs up + I filmed this late at night before I slept so I hadn't fluffed my hair up like I usually do. I remember editing this video not being fond of how it looked but generally I don't like my appearance a lot as is on this channel 😅 but most of the time my hair looks different than it does here, just depends on how much care or thought I give it :p
lol, not sure I've ever seen someone so butthurt by an album they didn't like. I get not liking the album but this is just silly levels of hate. You basically just fulfill the message of his album that you seem to hate so much.
Hey this fucking album is awesome idgaf what you say I know it’s just your opinion. But I feel like your more mad that he attacked liberals in some parts of his songs and tbh I think you just don’t know a real master piece
