The plan is slowly coming together, with Scott chasing the fish around the pond, he keeps them on their toes and reaps the rewards for his efforts. With crayfish being a major issue still, Scott devises his new rig, and hopes to see his results increase.

Absolutely a breath of fresh air mate. Keeping it real without all the shit electric music that modern day carp vids seem to have. Proper Carping by a proper bloke 🎣

Gunning for the pond with a thinking angler's logo going in my back window! Truly inspiring angling fella, helped me catch a cracking mirror last weekend. Read carp fever many years ago and that was a truly inspirational game changer for me.

The palm test is not simulating a carps mouth.
@danielmorris3446
@danielmorris3446 9 месяцев назад
No but it simulates how a rig turns when tensioned
@ApexCypher_
@ApexCypher_ 9 месяцев назад
@@danielmorris3446Rig straightening only works when a fish spooks. When a fish blows the bait out you need the hook and the bait to separate. When the bait is ejected you need the hook to be exiting hook eye first so that the point can hook the mouth. Most rigs don’t separate. Therefore the hook exists the mouth hook bend first. There’s virtually no chance of hooking a fish with these rigs. Separation is key.

@@ApexCypher_no chance of hooking a fish with these rigs? 😂 what drugs are you on, them rigs are what helped the guy win carp angler of the year in the UK. you havent got a clue.
@ajawbox
@ajawbox 9 месяцев назад
@@ApexCypher_and if you needed seperation between hook and bait to hook a carp how the hell is the ronnie the most used rig in thr countey in the last 5 years and more carp are caught on that rig than any other, absolutely no seperstion beween hook and bait and carp get nailed almost everytime. ive cleared out hard low srock lakes with rigs that have no hook-bait seperation, so stick that in ya pipe and smoke it
