In my opinion, House of Representatives is the greatest christian rap album ever made. Every album The Cross Movement made is capable of being played without skipping.
Ambassador killed it. I remember when this video came out in 1999...I sent a request to Cross Movement to send me da video and the cd. They definitely hook me up in a hurry with both. This is still a great video and song. Da BEAT is beyond sick. I wish there was an instrumental for it.
@NYstreetcorners24 I had the pleasure of meeting Enock before he died. I met the present CM members a few times. There's nothing like seeing them in concert. They are sooo real. They really love The Lord. Enock will be truly missed.
A RU-vid rabbit hole sent me here years back. I thought this was just good rap before I realized it was Christian. Love and respect from this agnostic.

definitely a loss, I remember i use to hang around the crossmovement when i was younger, I went to a small baby shower they had for him. That was right before we went to a youth event called "youth explosion" which was held in Ny.. those were the good days..
I remember Cross Movement and Gospel Gangstas...man, jr high and high school was rough but this got me through. And almost 20 yrs later, still lovin it! #classic

I remember hearing this song on a free mix cd at a Christian book store in 1998. Was absolutely blown away! I bought the full album that day and had this whole album on repeat on my boom box at home. The neighbors were mad at first, then started noticing the lyrics. Then they were fine with it. 😅

HAHA this has always been my favorite music video. I was blessed by ya'll growing up. Me and my brothers didn't need secular artist for our hip hop fix. Not to mention that your songs taught biblical lessons and made us think on Godly things. Praise God!

I don't know about you but I was just about to get yanked by the devil into watching a stupid DJ Khaled music video when the LORD brought me back here. CHRIST has still set apart for HIMSELF HIS OWN. I am talking about such timeless music and HIS mercy over me.
Are these guys still making music??? I know Ambassador lays solo tracks just wondering if they still collab together. Have just 4 of their albums :(. Love what they do, how they do it and who they represent. God bless our brothers in the faith.
+Veronica Poutama Phantik has a ssolo album dropping this year. Aside from that most of the other guys have moved on while Tonic still overlooks CMR though they don't have any new artists since CMR. Ambassador is attending SEBTS for his PHD. Not sure what Cruz and Tru-life is up to. Enoch passed aways several years ago.
