I believe Foy has lifted the show on her shoulders. She was one prime character from season 1 for both character portrayal and 1st impression of the monarch!.... I admire her as actress. Great job!.

Claire Foy, Vanessa Kirby, and Matt Smith literally set the standard for this show. Season 3-6 were great but season 1 and 2 were otherworldly! But I will have to say....the casting for this show throughout ALL seasons was on another level...exceptional...amazing...incredible...I truly don't think there are any words to really describe how this whole series was casted. Gamechanger!

Being a viewer on this journey has been truly remarkable. I've been a part of it since the beginning, and during the breaks between seasons, I found myself captivated by the magic of royalty, repeatedly watching and re-watching. The series is exquisitely filmed, reflecting the evident dedication and passion invested in its creation. Peter Morgan's work stands as one of the finest pieces of art I've ever encountered. I express my gratitude, and I sincerely hope that Netflix recognizes the privilege of being part of this experience as much as I do. Thank you all immensely.

It was fascinating marvelous and heartwarming and just totally A masterpiece Claire Elizabeth foy was the young Queen Elizabeth she was beautiful and such a great actress she made you believe you were watching things unfold in person The Princess Diana’s were pretty spot on one more than the other it was captivating it also made everybody miss the People’s princess her grace her beauty her kindness The loving mother she was and then the last six episodes came on which were rubbish I don’t get why they rushed through the story they just showed a clip Princess Diana‘s funeral it was like they threw a bunch of fake storylines analyzed that didn’t happen and had nothing to do with the story is very disappointing the last six episodes were just shite misinformation last 20 minutes of the last episode was tearful the whole last six episodes should’ve been better

This series was so extraordinarily well done. Claire Foy, Olivier Coleman, and Imelda Staunton all deserve incredible applause for each of their unique roles playing QE II. Brava! Josh Oconner was incredible as the young Prince Charles. He is an actor whom I hope we all see more of, in numerous other movie projects. Matt Smith played Prince Phillip so well and looked very much like Prince Phillip when he was in his twenties. Netflix and the director and writers and the costume people all deserve their own round of applause. Bob L.

Growing up i watched japanese period dramas or jidaigeki with my family and its given me an appreciation that shows like this can simultaneously elevate historical figures and events and at the same time makes it more grounded to the viewer. I hope The Crown's success will help propel future projects and careers

It's very odd to me because thinking back on season 5 I had almost automatically replaced Imelda Staunton's face with the late Queen's, to the point that I had almost mixed the show with reality. Very odd but a testament to her acting chops.

Ive been following claie foy's career dor years. It feels weird for her to be called a "new comer". If you liked her performance in the crown, i recommend you watch her in wolf hall and little doritt

I love this show so much, it was so amazing to watch the reenactments of these actual events unfold and even more so to research them afterwards. All the actors are amazing but I just want to put out a bit of a hot take and say this: I honestly prefer Tobias Menzies' performance as Philip more than Matt Smith. Don't get me wrong, Smith has got the interpretation and really understands his headspace but Menzies I thought had the mannerisms and personality down to a T as well as made him likeable enough to understand why Elizabeth and the rest of the family stuck with him

The show really pushed this actors at their 100% and it really shows to their performances. Thats why this show is always #1. Its ending is sad but gives a sense of finality to the life and service of HRM Queen Elizabeth II.

Season 6 was the weakest one, I wish they had trimmed the William/Kate episodes, it was out of the place and it didn't really work out. Given the story ended around 2005, Queen was well alive then and the next in line was Charles, William/Kate was nowhere near to be the center of the crown, it was a waste of screen time for these two.

Very disappointing the last six episodes were rubbish and fake facts on purpose I don’t understand but the last 20 minutes of the last episode was very tearful
