does it have a lot of differences from UA? i mean, if im a fan of UA will i find this one intresting?

@@ianduarte1992 Hmm... Apparently my reply got eaten by the algorithm. Not sure if Shack checks his "Held for Review" section so shall reply again. It is a rebalance with extra content, so should feel pretty familiar. Can always have a look at the Moddb page. I'm sure that question has been asked many times before.

@@Caldaris im not sure how new the page is, but its a bit barebones for now. i ask because while i do like UA it has been almost a year without anything being added, specialy many of the things theyre promissing. a lot of people told me to get the unification mod and ill be honest, i hate how inconsistent that one is. ill take a look at it, i feel a bit enthusiastic about it, specialy because the team seems to be very eager to add more stuff. thanks for the reply man.

@@ianduarte1992 I'll copy paste my reply to another comment here. We have had about 12 patches worth of changes covering all aspects of the game. Obviously the campaign is a notable addition recently but everything else has had huge works. About 50 new units. Many other model updates. Massive balance changes. Many reworks covering most aspects of the game. Many many bug fixes. Full Win Condition/SCAR reworks. It really is a comprehensive list of changes :) The changelogs are in our discord and are hugely extensive.

This mod was made by a bunch of assholes who went mad and decided to split and then try to sabotage UA. (If you read it's mod page at DB you will feel the salt). Same happened with Unification, but those devs are even more childish than Unification ones.

do tau have/will they have a subfaction system?

@@aesonkeel6527 They do not have one yet. We are planning to do a subfaction system for every faction, admittedly that might take a while. Space marines are next up for subfactions, and after that, I dont know. I know we'll probably keep alternating between big subfaction additions and mini ones, but we don't have a specific order for factions..

I have to ask, are the Tyranids in the mod or do they require that I download the Tyranid mod like UA?

@@phantomsanic3604 all mods require that tyranids be downloaded separately, as per the request of the creator of the tyranids mod.

Eldar is why I started learning to mod and therefore kinda why Cruci exists :D The Eldar Craftworld system is my long term pet project, although for now my focus is on the other races.

Good old Shack, never doing an ounce of research on the mods he plays unless he happens to be best friends of the creators.

@@invictus4050 To be fair, he does the same thing with games sometimes. His test run of Tyranny had him saying that it was a sequel to Pillars of Eternity, which it wasn't. It was just the second game to use the engine.

Did you install 1) nids .5b3, 2) crucible v2.00 core installer and 3) newest Crucible patch? If you did and still have issues come to our discord and we'll help you out.

@@eskalia2315 Well you can reinforce your squads anywhere on the field, so it ends up that you have to spam the reinforcement button the whole match to keep up with the AI. Not super enjoyable

Different concept. Unification is like vanilla but with reworked/polished vanilla races and then like another 20 races on top of that. Crucible just has the 12 races but everything is much larger scale. Instead of having loads of individual races, we are aiming to add a faction system to all races instead. Also Crucible balance has nothing in common with Vanilla Soulstorm balance.

The IG had some love given to the arti I'm the last patch. Griffon and medusa now both properly implemented, rather than them both combined in an awful way. They are now two separate units with correct models, weapons and descriptions.

@@diceaviusprime24 Ooof. There's been 11 patches worth of changes so far. I can't really remember what they were like before tbh. Best to come onto the Crucible discord and take a look through all the patch notes (there is separate google drive doc for all the v1 patches and all the v2 patches. Vaguely though, there's been loads of rebalancing, the mark system and it's buffs are completely redone and there are a few new units. After SM get their full Chapter system made (next patch), CSM will likely be the next race to get a full faction system. This'll be when there will be serious amounts of new content.
