'Duelist' could also refer to pistol duels, so perhaps she pulls out a sidearm for back-rank attacks, a bit like musketeer? Also, as a fencer... the word 'stance'... ugh.
@@Britishbrat All fencers love nitpicking over terminology :D On that note... the Duelist uses a rapier, and the Crusader a longsword. A greatsword would be closer to the Hellion's halberd/glaive thingie in size.
@@BritishbratI think she’s missing an arm that’s being hidden by the shoulder cape so it might be difficult for her to use an offhand gun-also I doubt they’ll let her step on Dismas’s toes like that and steal his swag like that. But I love the idea: hybrid pistol and melee is a sorely untapped vein in games right now, I think the only other game that lets you play with something like that is Bountyhunter Saltzpyer in Vermintide 2, and that’s only with a very specific build & weapon as well.
The man himself is back! Im very excited, to see the Crusader and the new Duelist hero. Looking forward to seeing you face the horrors with the new content
Wiping out ability cooldowns sounds quite potent in cooldown-heavy comps like Vestal and Flag, since they are all about managing your cooldowns correctly. Of course, that'll depend on how that is implemented, but I'm hopeful.
The duelist was a mod character from dd1, hopefully they didnt completely copy the mod without contacting the owner first, the mod version has 2 stances one was focused around reposting and stunning, the other was dps and attacking.
