Yeah, same for me on the Lyrics. Crystal Method and Lyrics doesn't go well together. Some words or spoken text is ok, but singing doesn't fit the style. I'll listen to it more. Maybe you're right. Thanks for the comment.
Sick tune; one of the best on the album. Agreed on the iPhone thing - although to be honest, if it's getting more coverage, fair enough. Maybe it will pluck out a few of the mainstreamers to listen to more of their stuff and become initiated into some decent music.
@djinny11 An iPod app. Well, I guess I should say an Apple app, but I've had it on my iPod for like 4 years. It's like Guitar Hero for your fingers, but is played to pretty much every music genre.
This is different than the song featured on the Divided by Night Album; where did this specific version come from? Is it just a lower quality version, demo, or what?
+silico Hi there. I had just googled it and found this at wikiperdia: "In late 2008, The Crystal Method set up a remix contest for a song off of their new album, called "Double Down Under". The song was available to be downloaded for a single day for anyone who wanted to remix it. Several remixes for the song have been made."
As Alfredo said this is the demo version that fans were invited to remix back in 2008. The audio quality of the mp3 was much better than this video I uploaded, I'm sorry ;)
None of this changes the fact that correcting people's grammar is rude. As long as you can understand what he's saying, you don't need to criticize his faults.
Actually sadly this is the only good tune on the new album. Bought it and regret it... :( Somehow I don't really like the new stuff from crystal method anymore. They had their great time with the album Vegas. That album was just some genius work.
As much as I would love to say that The Crystal Method compares to The Chemical Brothers, I'm not going to lie. The Crystal Method is good live. The Chemical Brothers is f*cking -EPIC- live.
Well, I don't know if it was -easily- proven, since the Chems only played a DJ set at Coachella, but I don't know that I would have liked TCM live more than a DJ set by the Chems.
I was like that at first. Give it a few more listens - it might grow on you. I'll tell you what though - it would do better without half the lyrics. I HATE the lyrics for Sine Language, but the beats are so good.
