In this video we retell the tale of the Crystal Tower, the first Alliance Raid in Final Fantasy XIV. Originally presented as a part of A Realm Reborn’s optional endgame, the Crystal Tower has now become a mandatory undertaking for anyone planning to progress through the game, so getting a good grasp on its story sounds like a good idea. As a tale of Allagan ingenuity and hubris, as well as personal challenges and growth, the story of the Crystal Tower really adds to the legacy of the Final Fantasy series from which the tower has been plucked, so let’s have at it.

Glad you find some enjoyment in them Andrew. They're a bit time consuming to make so our plan to get them all out before Endwalker failed but we have more in the pipelines. Next Saturday, however, we will be rocking the Final Fantasy X fanbase with something extra... special. - Nökkvi

I love how in-depth these are! I've watched this one and the Coils one so far, and you do a great job. From the script to the visuals, and the dipping back into Eorzea history when necessary, without spoiling future content! Well done. I'm currently about to start Shadowbringers, so I'm trying to catch up on all the content and story to make sure I get the most out of ShB, and these videos have been great. :D

As a dumb sprout who skipped the ARR patch content, along with the crystal tower, because I thought it wasn't important to the story - Thank you so much! I'm not going to make the same mistake again with HW patches. I really like how you structure the video and don't just gloss over the story. Also your voice reminds me of a certain nature documentary narrator, and i love it!

i love the visuals and narration you have edited together here, if nothing else the chicken costume kinda slaps my immersion a bit, thats my only gripe. good work buddy

And speaking of slapping, don't forget to slap that like button and live life to the fullest. But yeah, I can sympathize with the chicken costume. Alternatively though I would mention that for me, seeing any warrior of light that isn't myself usually breaks my immersion a bit.

@@BirdsOfPlay yh, understandable, prob too much extra graft but having a char designed around the actual cinematic warrior of light could fit ;p bit of a dive for just your vids though i would guess. :) liked ofc

That's definitely a very sensible way to go! It's definitely something to consider. Although I do like the bird thing as part of the branding for the channel.

is there an explanation why nero's watch thing starts to beep again in the very last cutscene where he throws it off the bridge? is that like a shadowbringers hint or does it actually mean anything
