Somehow it picked up 14 dislikes in the 6 years since your post. Guess there are some people with no musical skills who go around disliking EVERYTHING!
I great, just Great! the incorporation of Humor in Music in these times of a desabled World, I feel like a musician while the Titanic sinks, Unmatched Honor and Privilege. I don't even feel bad in these terrible and wrong times. ( Musicians Bow to you all out there.)

Reminds me of the great Joe Venuti, a great practical joker. Once he called up every tuba player in the NYC directory and had them meet on the corner outside his apartment. Hundreds of confused tuba players were scratching their heads wondering where the gig was. It caused a severe road block. Mind you the local MU made him pay for their time! On another occasion at interval he put loads of flour down the tuba while the player was elsewhere. You can guess what happened.
Hi Bill. Do you are anymore pieces you can upload from this concert please. I played percussion for the band at this concert and would love to see more, can’t believe it’s be 20 years though. Amazing memories.
Hi Wayne. I believe it to be the correct name of a traditional Swiss melody. Original arrangement of this version is by Elgar Howarth for Philip Jones. This transcription is by Sandy Smith. The full band version is not published, to the best of my knowledge. The quintet version is available on Just Brass ( I think). Glad you enjoyed it. Keep sharing. I would love to to the million views. Thanks.
@@shauncrowther4197 Bravo Shaun. I really appreciate your skill and artistry. Please don't let the negative comments get to you. There is a reason it's called "Trolling." I am actually trying to find an arrangement of this to download to my phone playlist. I am an ex-musician. I am also a disabled veteran. Music really speaks to me when my PTSD flares up. Your particular version brings me great joy in dark times. Thank you for the interpretation and for posting it for me to enjoy at home. Keep teaching your students that wit and wisdom. Blessings
@ @@waynelamb3194 Thank you for your service, sir.God bless you ! I hope you will have better health.Music soothes and cares for the soul. Best greetings from France
