Should have lived there 1967. It was fun, coming from Chevy chase Maryland, very down home. We are talking only county western music on the radio-nothing to do all night, except walk around and bump into anyelse that couldn't sleep and complain or sit in Bob's lunch all night writing poetry. Our all night greasy spoon. No traffic and you could rent a house for 35. or 65. a month. What a trip at 17.
Yes I will move to Ashland, Oregon from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. I am a trumpet player and I will come down there. Long time ago half of British Columbia was part of the Oregon Territory. Oregon looks like British Columbia and Washington state. Prince George was the marking point drawn from the map from Canada down to Oregon state. All settled because of the 49th parallel. Thanks to the British they screwed up!
I have to take care of my parents and the gas price is very high in Canada and the USA too. Ten dollars a gallon is coming which is three dollars a liter.
