Yesterday I was at the Cure concert in Leipzig/Germany. I knew very few of the band's songs, Alone was the first song of the night, I fell in love with the music straight away, one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. It was a wonderful evening with my dad :)
It’s quite touching that in the live versions of this song Alone, Robert quietly walks about connecting with everyone, as if to say ‘you are not alone’ in your solitude. He is really wearing his own heart on the outside with this new album.
@@Melicent not yet, sorry, I just meant his sharing this live instead of just releasing the album. It is clear to me he wanted to share his heart with everyone this way first before the album came out, so people could feel and witness the rawness and realness of the emotion it took for him to make it. I’ve listened to them since early 80’s and never quite experienced him do something like this, it’s really beautiful and sorrowful together.
This is the end.Espero que este no sea el fin del grupo pero si lo fuera grácias 1000 por acompañarme en mi viaje de la vida. Larga vida a THE CURE, os espero el 11 de noviembre en Madrid. 🎤🖤🎸
Does ANYONE have any word that can be confirmed as to when the album drops? Very strange to start a tour and play 2 new songs, but not drop the album. What's going on? GF is a major lifelong Cure fan...and drug me into it. hahahaha These 2 new songs sound very promising! She's been waiting a long time for this sound to come back around, I think.... She's been to many concerts....met them....got them all talking on helium from balloons in a bus for Simon's B-day, way back....but didn't go up to the room. Was apprehensive. (Robert seemed tired to her after the concert, and believe it or not, she didn't want to impose though the manager did invite her and told her what hotel and where. She got to the hotel, but turned around after she got there and talked with their manager again. Part regretting and part not, I think. But definitely feels she did miss something though all she wanted to do was talk and hang out. Nothing more.) I wonder if any of them remember those balloons after the concert, now. She has truly waited. A very long time. This is nearly the only music she actually identifies with, even after all these years. It's literally part of who and what she is. I need to get this for her! LOL
It's Perry Bamonte, back in the band to everyone's surprise. Nobody seems to know exactly what he's doing during the shows but nice to see him back again. :)
@@myslas I was surprised to see him after the alleged way Perry and his father I think were booted out the band to make way for Porl return for Dream. I thought Perry had given up on music and was really in to his fishing these days . I also heard he’s had some health problems. Fantastic to see him back. Would love to know Robert’s reasons for bringing him back.
