They opened with this song at this year's Exit festival. Just as they started to play, the sky went dark with heavy clouds and there was a massive downpour. The whole experience was fucking brilliant.
Gosh, it’s hard to say because there’s so many fabulous masterpiece albums out there but I think that I agree ✊ It’s a true masterpiece and so magical. Robert Smith is a genius (he’d probably disagree lol but it’s true.)

Its amazing that they were using blue lights for this song because this song is exactly that shade of blue in the way my brain identifies it... Idk how to explain it hahaha
I always identify music with colors and smells but I do not have synesthesia. music has those feelings. it's more of an emotional connection to colors and smells. synesthesia is smelling colors or sensing numbers with textures. also numbers with colors is very common.

My first concert at 16 years old was watching in a trance The Cure. Now at 45 years old. I listen at minimum to this rendition live once a week. This is EPIC of my favorite songs and melodic ensembles to ever be recorded LIVE by my standards.!!!
We Cure fans are blessed… Imagine the billions of people who are missing out on them…! We are the few who managed to witness their brilliance during our lifetime. When they're gone, they will endure through time, but we'll remain the few who will be able to say we got it when they were among us. As I watch this in 2018, it's sad to think that more years have passed since this was filmed til now than the years from when the song was written til when this was filmed.
Quality always has longevity the cure tears for fears etc etc this modern crap has no emotion or strength. These guys congrats on hall of fame induction. Tears for fears and others should be in as well.
